The Bible declares that all mankind--both men and women--have sin natures. In other words, the human sin nature is defined as: sin in the flesh. For example:
-Psalms 51:5- Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. -Romans 5:12-“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” -Romans 7:16-18: 16.If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17.Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18.For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. -Romans 8:3-“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh” -Romans 3:10 (Ps14:3)- “As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one” Because Satan is the father of lies, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn10:10), he has purposefully perverted the Biblical doctrine of man’s inherent sin nature to create what is arguably his greatest lie: ‘man is inherently good’. From this one lie, Satan has been able to both create and successfully promote all manner and types of “doctrines of devils”(1Tim4:1). An example of this is found in atheism’s ‘Humanist Manifesto II’, which declares, "As nontheists, we begin with humans, not God, nature, not deity ...But we can discover no divine purpose or providence for the human species. While there is much that we do not know, humans are responsible for what we are or will become. No deity will save us; we must save ourselves." On the contrary, if it is true that man can save himself---he certainly has done a poor job!!! Evolution says man is evolving upwards in life---and yet over millions and billions of years---mankind’s ‘supposed’ ability to save himself is laughable! Genghis Khan murdered 40-70 million people in the 11th and 12th centuries. During the 20th century, Pol Pot murdered 2 million Cambodians; Hitler murdered 20 million, including 6 million Jews; Stalin murdered 40 million people*; Mao murdered 60 million people!!! The book ‘Death by Government’ by RJ Rummel, gives a low estimate of 150 million people who perished by government attacks---which I repeat, is from 1900-2000…not including the deaths in wars!!! Is this the evidence that “man is inherently good”!?!?! Of course not! Mankind cannot save himself, or the millions of years of evolution would have already saved him! Isaiah 44:11 declares God’s truth, “I, even I, am the Lord, And there is no savior besides Me.” Regarding evolution, it is yet another doctrine arising from the ‘man is inherently good’ myth. However, although atheist and evolutionist Richard Dawkins would disagree with the conclusion of this tidbit, he yet offers his description of the consequences of his beloved Darwin’s Theory of Evolution: “The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is at bottom no design, no purpose, no evil and no good. Nothing but blind, pitiless indifference. DNA neither knows nor cares. DNA just is, and we dance to its music.” First, in my opinion, this is probably the single worst statement I have EVER read in my entire life!!! Second, although it is impossible to move past the utter hopelessness of Dawkins’ statement, to make my point on man’s sin nature, I must try. Notice Dawkins’ unwittingly, yet wittingly, declares there is no good or evil. In Dawkins’ liberal world, his rejection of good and evil is called relativism, which, by the way, is yet another doctrine created by the ‘man is inherently good’ philosophy. However, can you imagine any rational human being---who has ever lived---holding to the preposterous notion that rejects the existence of evil?!!?! Yet, because relativism must reject absolutes—leaving truth’s only option to be defined by relativism—which permits Dawkins' intellectual justification to reject good and evil! However, if we use just an ‘itsy’ bit of rational thinking, we must conclude that Dawkins’ rejection of design, purpose, good, and evil is self-contradictory. Why? Take ‘design’ for example. All design requires purpose. Or, to design a thing requires a purpose for that thing—to create it! Or, very simply, one designs according to a purpose. But design and purpose must end in meaning. Or said another way, purpose ends with definitions. I repeat, purpose gives birth to meaning in life, including the meaning of words. Yet, the very ‘words’ Dawkins uses to describe the consequence of evolution: “no design, no purpose, no evil and no good” —obviously have meaning!! Why? Because again, and without exception, all communication requires definitions/meanings of words to convey a communicator’s intent. Therefore, all words have purpose, which means all words have meaning; therefore, Dawkins’ words have both purpose and meaning! Yet, Dawkins still irrationally contends that the creation has “no design, no purpose, no evil and no good”. But if design does not exist, purpose cannot exist! If purpose does not exist, meaning cannot exist! If meaning does not exist, then the very words of Dawkins’ statement: “no design, no purpose, no evil and no good” can have no meaning! Hence, Dawkins’ diatribe on the universe having “no design, no purpose, no evil and no good” is a self-contradiction! On the contrary, I’m happy to report that because God exists, and the God who exists is absolute, absolutes do exist, which means design, purpose, evil, and good all have meaning… and therefore all exist, because…they all originate from the design and purpose of the Great Designer: the Creator God! One final point. If ‘man is inherently good’—which is required if man has no sin nature--even though evil cannot exist within the framework of the ‘man is inherently good’ philosophy---yet because evil does exist---one must invent evil, and its cause(s)…OR…learn to live in permanent dissonance! So, how does the crowd that holds to ‘man is inherently good’ resolve their unresolvable problem? They deify man…which in their distorted opinion allows them to think whatever they want, and to do whatever they want! So…what do they do? For the present, they grab hold of Marxism and its victimology---and push it all over the world!! In practice, how then does their Marxism and victimology look? They divide people into groups and simply declare: the rich oppress the poor (literally meaning everyone); or the majority oppress the minority; or the Whites oppress the Blacks (or BIPOC**); or the heterosexuals oppress the homosexuals and transgenders; or American citizens oppress the illegal aliens crossing the border; or the Israelis oppress the Palestinians! And, what’s worst of all—Christians/Jews oppress the Muslims…including oppressing the aforementioned groups!*** In conclusion, the following two Biblical doctrines: 1.God originally created man like Himself 2.Man sinned and fell, and inherited a sin nature …are not only foundational to the Bible, but affect the entire creation!! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. -Pro9:10 *Which includes starving 7-10 million Ukrainians in what’s called the Holodomor. The absurdity of ‘man is inherently good’ is self-evident! **The acronym is: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. In the life of any human being, there occur spots of success, along with blatant, in-your-face blotches of failure. Interestingly, each spot of success and each blotch of failure collectively comprise the makeup of who we are today. This is true because God created mankind to do in this life, i.e.to act (Gen1:26-28). However, and incredibly, as you act, regardless of the number of failures, by God’s grace, along with the virtue of intestinal fortitude, our failures can be transformed into successes. For example, an 18-year-old is considered to have achieved a milestone in life upon graduation from high school, even considering numerous past failures/mistakes in academics, family, sports, or in any other areas of his life. Upon the achievement of his graduation, he feels better about himself, his family feels better about him, and his graduation is evidence that he has done something worthwhile--he has achieved, he has accomplished, he has produced. On the ‘Stair Steps of life’…he just stepped up! On the contrary, in the moment of a celebration of one’s accomplishment, we can often either ignore or forget the hard work, sacrifice, late nights, etc., that was involved in that person’s ‘step-up’ moment. In other words, the suffering endured in an accomplishment can easily be swallowed up in the bliss of the celebration of that accomplishment. A second example of pressing through the suffering of stepping up in this life is a child learning to walk. In order for a baby to successfully take his first steps, he must first work through possessing the necessary strength and coordination in his legs. To facilitate this process, we buy jump chairs with wheels on them, or perhaps we may even hold the baby in our laps, allowing him to strengthen his legs by jumping up and down—in preparation for the moment he begins to walk. Yet, in spite of our many efforts to help, what happens when the child first attempts to walk? He repeatedly falls!! However, after falling, as every child who is learning to walk does--it is assumed the child will stand up again to achieve his objective of walking. Allow me to cut to the chase. What’s amazing about the process of a child learning to walk is: initially, the child falls more often than he takes successful steps! Over and over again--He stumbles! He crashes! He bangs his head! He scrapes his knees…and will often even cry!! ---YET, he can only accomplish walking if he gets up and tries to take another step! Because it is so very easy to celebrate the accomplishment of a graduate or a baby finally learning to walk, our celebration easily ignores or neglects the difficulties inherent in the ‘step-up’ process that caused the graduate or child to reach their final objectives. So, allow me one final illustration to make my point of this tidbit crystal clear. When a man approaches a staircase, it is assumed he possesses the physical strength, energy, mental acuity, character, etc., to reach the top of the stairs. However, even with all the previously mentioned attributes, for a man to reach the top of the stairs, he must ‘act’ on the forward and upward motion of taking the next step up! However, in the reality of living a meaningful life, the three words ‘forward and upward’ are very simple to say out of our mouths, but the actual action is not! Why? The ‘Stair step’ principle of life is always and only preceded by unforeseen pain and failure. In other words, the higher one achieves in life, the greater the obstacles, and the greater the endurance necessary to overcome those obstacles! On the contrary, a person who does not step up in life, or who rejects the endurance necessary to overcome the obstacles—in essence—refuses to ‘fail-up’ or to ‘fail forward’ to the new level that exists before him! For example, each step-up in life requires at least five things. i.the intestinal fortitude to recognize that one currently exists in a measure of failure ii.the intestinal fortitude to resist remaining in the same place, i.e.to reject the ‘comfortable life.’ iii.the intestinal fortitude to commit to, and then act on the decision to ‘step up’ iv.the intestinal fortitude to acquire the appropriate knowledge designed to result in new skills v.the intestinal fortitude necessary to press through the repeated failure inevitable to each step-up’! In other words, to begin the step-up process in life, you must first recognize the ‘measure of failure’ in which you presently exist. But, as quickly as possible, you must reject that present failure as your destination—or it will push you into hopelessness! On the contrary, you must see it as a doorway!! In other words, you must ‘CHOOSE’ to turn your present ‘measure of failure’ …into your motivation!!! Remember, in God’s mercy and redemption, after man sinned, i.e.failed, God responded by taking that failure…and literally turning it into the doorway to your success! God used the sin of Adam (Rom5:17-19) to bring victory through the second Adam—Jesus, who was and is our substitutionary sacrifice (Heb2:9; Rom8:32)! On the contrary, it is fear that makes failure a destination, which is why God calls fear a “spirit”(2Tim1:7). Tragically, when fear is imbibed, it freezes or immobilizes a person in their present measure of failure! So, if you choose to quit (Pro24:10) in that present ‘measure of failure, you will begin to live in that failure---and ultimately become a failure! In short, quitting equals failure! Therefore, only ‘forward and upward movement’ can land you on God’s destination for your success! For example, falling is the final destiny of discontinuing movement on a bike. On the contrary, when you fall off your bike, get up, get back on, and as you push the pedal forward, your balance will return, and your forward progress will resume. On the contrary, if a biker falls and remains on the ground--failure is certain! It is irresistible! It is established! I repeat, to get up, get back on the bike, and push the pedal forward again, regardless of the pain or number of falls, is the only assurance of success. Yet, the decision to get up is entirely personal (Pro24:16)—it has nothing to do with skill, energy, or talent. It’s called intestinal fortitude! Returning to the ‘Stair Step’ principle. The width of the steps on any given staircase is not made for the placement of the entire length of the human foot, but only for the ball of the foot. Why? Because stairs are made for neither standing still nor moving backward! Stairs are only made to move forward and upward! However, if you refuse to move, you may in fact find yourself falling backward!! In summation, 1.failure occurs much more than success, yet we are remembered for our success 2.you will always encounter resistance, struggle, pain, and hurt in the process of stepping up. 3.move only forward and upward Remember, the unfailing Word of God: 1.David encouraged himself in the LORD his God… (1Sam30:6) 2.If you faint in the day of adversity Your strength is small (Pro24:10) Victory is waiting for you at the top of the stairs(1Cor15:57)! Stated, the art of victimology is creating moral authority through the manipulation of the virtue of sympathy. Victimology is designed to create Moral Authority, which originates from self-righteousness ending in idolatry. Victimhood is one of the great evils of the past century.
One of the greatest examples of the consequences of victimology is Adolf Hitler, who used it to gain control of Germany and destroy Europe. 1.In 1933, the Nazis set fire to the Reichstag(German government building) and subsequently blamed the Communists. One day later, President Hindenburg signed the Reichstag Fire Edict on the advice of Adolf Hitler. This Edict, which suspended individual liberties and civil rights, gave Hitler the legal authority and opportunity to move against the Communists, whom he believed were attempting to destroy Germany. Just a few days later, this led to the passage of the ‘Enabling Act’, which gave Hitler full dictatorial powers. 2.One week after the Enabling Act was passed, Hitler declared a boycott of Jewish stores in Germany. The purpose was revenge against the international press for printing lies on the Nazi regime…which of course, according to Hitler, was controlled by Jews. Thousands of Jewish-owned businesses were boycotted, initiating increasing violence and attacks on Jews, ultimately forcing them into concentration camps where millions were systematically murdered. 3.Because victimology was working like a charm, Hitler continued onward to greater things. He unofficially began World War II on March 11, 1938, by marching into Austria. How and/or Why?? In 1937, Hitler began financing and inciting the Austrian Nazis to violence—their bombings and thuggery occurring almost nightly. The Austrian police broke into the headquarters of a group called the ‘Committee of Seven’, whose public goal was to bring about peace between Austria and Nazis. The police found secret papers with the signature of Rudolph Hess stating that open revolt was to be maintained until the Austrian government intervened to quiet the fighting. At this point the German army would then enter Austria to prevent “German blood from being shed by Germans.” German troops annexed Austria without a shot fired. 4.Continuing in 1938, at the same time Hitler was annexing Austria, plans were being made for Czechoslovakia, where over three million Germans lived in what was called the Sudetenland. Although doing well compared to the minority Germans in other countries like Hungary, Italy, or Poland, the Czech Germans complained about unfair treatment. To attack Czechoslovakia, Hitler used their ‘supposed’ unjust treatment claims and ordered: “demands should be made by the Sudeten German Party which are unacceptable to the Czech government.” Publicly, however, Hitler said, “It is not my intention to smash Czechoslovakia by military action in the immediate future without provocation, unless an unavoidable development….within (emphasis in the original) Czechoslovakia forces the issue, or political events in Europe create a particularly favorable opportunity which may perhaps never recur.” Hitler determined that the Sudetenland Germans, who were previously part of Austria, needed to return to the Reich, although they had never been part of Germany. The result is that ‘The Great Appeaser’ ---Neville Chamberlain, the English Prime Minister, broke his covenant of protection with the Czechs, ironically to avert World War, and agreed (The Pact of Munich) to divide Czechoslovakia among the Germans, Hungarians, and Poles! In one day, Czechoslovakia ceased to exist!* The demon of victimology did not die with Hitler; I use him only to show the horror of its consequences (Col2:8). On the contrary, victimology is alive and well in America! It is the greatest tool of liberal success! For example, take abortion. Approximately ten years ago, how is it that Planned Parenthood was able to withstand the undercover videos of selling baby parts? Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood’s leader, with help from President Obama**--simply appealed that the service they provide is important and necessary for women’s health. Their primary service is abortions. Even though the non-abortion services Planned Parenthood Federation provides can be found elsewhere, their appeal to Americans is that to defund PPF is to hate women! In other words, forget their murder of infants, AND subsequently selling their parts—Planned Parenthood is the victim of those who hate women! Victimology is not some insidious methodology hidden from all but the most keen, observant eyes! It is in plain view for all to see! Liberalism used it to achieve gay marriage! How? The appeasers in the media present gays as victims of mean-spirited Christians and Conservatives! Furthermore, victimology literally dominates the liberal black community! Liberals, both white and black, have joined together to market blacks as victims of whites! Their express purpose is to institutionalize and memorialize ‘white’ racism as America’s original sin!!! But why? In order to destroy America’s Christian roots and supplant*** those roots with Socialism! However, I pray Christians will not be ignorant of the devil’s schemes! For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? -1John5:4,5 One cannot be a victim and an overcomer simultaneously!! You must be one or the other—because they are mutually exclusive! There is no middle ground!! Allow me to simplify: No overcoming = no faith! AND…without faith, it is not only impossible to please God (Heb11:6)! AND…it is impossible to be saved (Eph2:8,9)!
