Last time, I wrote that liberalism declares all religions equal (by which they mean the same). I counter with two points:
1.All religions are not the same, as I pointed-out in part 3 2.Liberalism lies when it declares all religions the same because it uses the “separation of church and state” against Christianity. Let’s take a quick look at the “separation of church and state”. If God, the Bible, Christ, is mentioned in public, the immediate “shut-down” for liberals is to scream, “SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE”. This strategy allows liberals to ignore God’s word, effectively removing God’s viewpoint from public discourse. This is horrific because to reject God; Who is light(Jn1:4); and Who lightens every man(Jn1:9); by default leaves only darkness! If we look at the results of this error on our present culture, we find Isaiah 5:20, right before our eyes: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness…” I repeat, the number ‘1’ reason for the evil now pervading our culture is the rejection of the Judaeo/Christian ethic, which I repeat, liberalism accomplishes through imposing their re-definition of ‘the separation of church and state’!! Allow me to explain further. In 1947, in the case Everson vs Board of Education, in the name of religious pluralism, a.k.a. religious diversity, a.k.a. all religions are the same, the SCOTUS extracted 8 words from Thomas Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury Baptists: “a wall of separation between church and state.” By creating a new definition, and by removing the words from their context, the liberal court arrived at what is arguably the worst decision in SCOTUS history!!! Inventing a new name for their new creation: “the Establishment Clause”, the Supreme court declared, “That wall must be kept high and impregnable.” Through their erroneous re-definition and application, liberalism has successfully white-washed much of the Judaeo/Christian ethic, and thereby any reference to God, or the Bible from public view!! Problem number 1: God’s name is Jehovah Nissi; which means banner, or flag. This incredible Name of God was revealed to us in Exodus 17:15, when Moses built an altar to the Lord after defeating the Amalekites. When Moses lifted the rod of God over the battle, Israel prevailed, when Moses grew tired and lowered his hands, Amalek prevailed. So, Aaron and Hur came along side Moses, and helped him to sustain his raised hands. The result was an Israel victory! The lesson is obvious! The Creator God, Who alone is the Sovereign, and Who alone reigns, must be lifted-up in a culture! The Word of God clearly states, -Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people -Pro14:34 - Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD… -Ps33:12 - One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness -Ps145:4,6 - They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. – Ps145:11,12 And finally, Jesus boldly declared: - And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. -Jn12:32 Problem number 2 What then does the ‘separation of church and state’ actually mean? First, the term was coined by English priest Richard Hooker (1554-1600). In other words, the phrase: “separation of church and state” is a Bible doctrine!!! Read that again!! Contrary to liberalism, you can’t use a Bible doctrine against the Bible! The very idea is contradictory and irrational!! Mr. Hooker extracted the doctrine from Jesus in Matthew 22:21, where Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s.” Obviously, Jesus’ point was not to remove God from government!* How could He think that when God rules over governments (Is9:6)?! The Bible declares Jesus to be the ‘King’ of kings (1Tim6:15)—which is government terminology! God alone is the Supreme Judge (Jud11:27)…who judges nations (Mat25:32)! Furthermore, because God created all things, He gives purpose to those things. Therefore, because God created both the ‘church’ and ‘the state’; as their Creator, He has the right to give His sovereign purpose to both! I repeat, the purposes of both ‘the church’ and ‘the state’ are different, and God designed neither to usurp the purpose of the other. This was Jesus’ point; Pastor Hooker’s point; and Thomas Jefferson’s point to the Danbury Baptists!!!! However, using ‘word manipulation’--liberal’s number one tactic of deception--they re-defined the word “church” in the ‘separation of church and state’. Whereas, up until 1947, the definition of “church” meant, “a federally established denomination”**, after the Everson case, the word “church” was re-interpreted to mean “a religious activity in public”. Hence, liberalism has since done everything possible to scrub anything “Christian” from American culture!*** For space sake, allow me to offer the smallest example. Both government and businesses have created laws prohibiting, “Merry Christmas!” Why? Because liberals believe even saying the words, “Merry Christmas!” to be a religious activity in public!! Obviously, wishing someone a “Merry Christmas!” has nothing to do with establishing a national denomination! But that makes no difference to liberalism because its’ objective, through Religious Diversity, using their re-definition of ‘the separation of church and state’, is to replace the Judaeo/Christian ethic with its own religion: atheism!!! Remember, every nation has a god(Ps33:12)—no exceptions--but only the nation whose God is the Lord---is blessed!!! *God can be removed from nothing! He is omnipresent (Pro15:3); …to Whom every knee shall bow(Phil2:10)! **This means no ‘Christian’ denomination, such as Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, etc., could be made the denomination of the federal government! The purpose of the original ‘separation of church and state’ was to identify the two separate purposes. AND…the purpose of the First Amendment rests on this premise, in order to limit the power of government from intervening in church affairs! This is exactly opposite of what liberals believe! ***Liberalism does not focus on anything “religious”…they focus only on anything ‘Christian’ or ‘Biblical’!!!
