I begin this tidbit with the final statement from my last tidbit; a quote from Ibram Kendi which expresses the sentiments of liberalism: "When you truly believe that the racial groups are equal, then you also believe that racial disparities are the result of racial discrimination”.
As Kendi’s view on income disparity among races becomes incorporated into the human mindset, its’ end result is envy. Why? Because humans cannot change their race, so they also cannot change the income disparity among races, so the only consequence is to look sideways at White people as unjust, i.e., as oppressors of Blacks and people of color! Therefore, the only remedy—from the liberal point of view---is to hit the streets in protest, at best, which produces nothing; or at worst, to become violent, tearing down what others have built!! Allow me to continue using the book ‘Social Justice Fallacies’ by Thomas Sowell to refute Kendi and other liberals who have tragically convinced an entire generation of Americans that they have been unjustly treated. Remember, Psalms 11:3 -“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” On page 15 in his book, Sowell quotes economic historian David S. Landes, with what should be obvious to any human being regardless of age, location, religion, or time period: “The world has never been a level playing field.” My response to every liberal is equally obvious: How can the world be a level playing field when the God who created it made the earth so vastly different, including in it so many differing elements and natural resources?!?! And to top it off, the same God made man like Himself, giving each individual human differing gifts, potential, and purpose. It is simply impossible for income to be the same because it is impossible for people to produce the same. God created productivity as the foundation on which humans are to possess income. Sowell continues on pages 15,16: “Western Europe and Northern Europe have long had more of the natural resources used in an industrial revolution---iron ore and coal, for example—than did Eastern Europe or Southern Europe. But none of that mattered during the many thousands of years before human beings’ knowledge developed to the point where they were capable of creating an industrial revolution. Which part of Europe was more advantaged or disadvantaged varied with particular eras, and the human knowledge available in those eras.” “Nature has been no more fair between the sexes than in its treatment of other social groups, societies, or nations. Human double standards of sexual behavior for women and men have been a pale reflection of how selfish, stupid, or irresponsible a man may be; he will never become pregnant. The plain and simple fact that women have babies means that they may not have equal chances in many other aspects of life, even when some human societies offer equal opportunity for people with the same developed capabilities.” “The seemingly invincible fallacy that only human bias can explain different economic and social outcomes among peoples is belied repeatedly by hard facts in societies around the world. Whatever the condition of human beings at the beginning of the species, scores of millennia had already come and gone before anyone coined the phrase “social justice”.” Under the category of “Environment and Human Capital,” on page 17, Sowell writes. “Other people in very different and more favorable circumstances may or may not develop a comparable sense of honesty and cooperation. In short, honesty is one of the many factors that cannot be assumed to be equally present in all places or among all peoples. Nor does empirical evidence suggest an equality in this factor, any more than in many other factors. Among the simple tests used to assess the honesty in various people and places have been projects that deliberately left wallets containing both money and personal identification in public places in various cities around the world.” “When on such a project in 2013 left a dozen wallets were left in public places, in various cities, the number of wallets returned with the money still in them varied from eleven out of twelve in Helsinki (Finland) to one out of twelve in Lisbon (Portugal). Moreover, the one wallet that was returned in Lisbon was returned by a couple visiting from the Netherlands; no Portuguese returned any. An earlier test found 100 percent of wallets returned in Norway, 67 percent in the United States, 30 percent returned in China, and 21 percent returned in Mexico.” Wow!!! The evidence continues to mount that people are different in every area of life, so the liberal ‘Social Justice’ argument that income disparity ought to be the same or similar, or that White Supremacy is its very real and present cause…is once again proven false!
