  One image is of Evyatar David, a 2023 Hamas hostage, digging his own grave in captivity, and the other is the Holocaust. Notice the striking resemblance? The Holocaust motto is “Never Forget” and “Never Again”. Journalist Greg Bouwer wrote, “And so “Never again” must not mean “Never again to Jews alone.” It must mean “Never again to anyone, anywhere” — and it must compel action, not just sentiment.”* Therefore, Christians must join the Jews to ‘Remember’ the Holocaust…which is arguably the most horrific event of the 20th century!
As a young person, I can remember studying the Holocaust in school and wondering how this could ever happen anywhere, to anyone, at any time!! It literally sparked an itch that ‘tragically’ I did not begin to scratch until 15 years ago. After which, I began reading one book after another, beginning with William Shirer’s seminal work “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”. After the horror of October 7, 2023, I was inspired to make a renewed commitment to remember Yom HaShoah going forward. That infamous day was so horrible that it reminded me of the Holocaust! AND…what’s just as bad, if not worse, because I have studied historical anti-semitism, all the anti-semitism that has arisen after October 7, created in me a fear of another Holocaust…in this day!!!! I wholeheartedly agree with the Yom HaShoah motto of “Never Forget” and “Never again”, so allow me to give you 3 real-time examples of contemporary Jew-hatred that, at least for me, put the potential of another Jewish slaughter fast approaching in our rear-view mirror! 1.For my first real-time example, I offer one of the more popular slogan’s of today’s anti-Jewish, anti-Israel protests: “From the River to the Sea, Palestine must be free.” To adequately address the deception in this statement requires an honest answer to two questions: I.Is this true? II.Where does it lead, or what is its’ end? I.Is this statement true? The vast majority of the people who protest using this phrase can neither name the ‘sea’ nor the ‘river’ to which they refer!!! How then can they know if there is any truth to their slogan? Tragically, ‘truth’ is NOT a value of either historical or contemporary anti-semitism/Jew-hatred! Furthermore, those who use this slogan have WILLFULLY chosen to be ignorant of the fact that there has never been a land, nor a nation called Palestine!! Why then do these people protest?!?! First, antisemitism is hatred, and hatred is irrational! Second, liberalism’s ‘Unholy Trinity’: a.the liberal academia, b.the liberal media, and c.the liberal government…have conspired to blatantly ‘LIE’ about ‘all things’ Israel!!! And…how do they lie? ‘Wokeism’ has filled America with the myth that all our problems are caused by: ‘The Oppressor’; ‘The Majority’; ‘The Wealthy’; or ‘White people’**. THEN…the antisemites simply ‘fit’ Jews/Israel into these categories! For example, in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, they simply declare Jews/Israel: ‘i.The Oppressors Of The Poor, Defenseless Palestinians’; ii.of being ‘The Majority in Israel’; iii.of ‘The Wealthy Who Control The Economies Of The World’; and of course, iv.The Jews Are ‘White People’! Therefore, …those terrible parasites (Jews/Israel)...must be blamed! II. Where does this slogan lead, or what is its end? For this slogan to be fulfilled, the Jewish people must be removed from the “stolen” land of “Palestine”! But the million-dollar question is.… Where should the 7 million Jews go, once “Palestine” has been freed? Are we to assume that the same nations that use this slogan will welcome the Jews into their countries?!?! The answer to this question is in the slogan: 'Push Israel into the Sea!’ Obviously, is a call for genocide. Therefore, the Jews/Israel must die! Ironically, this is also called ‘Projection’! I repeat, the very people who accuse Israel of genocide are themselves guilty of propagating genocide against Israel! In other words, this slogan calls for a second Holocaust! AND therefore, THE reason we must remember Yom HaShoah!!! 2.My second real-time example is Candace Owens. Candace has been an outspoken critic*** of Israel for several years. Although she rejects the label of an antisemite, out of the abundance of her heart, she speaks (Mat12:34). For example, just last week, after Israel responded to a Hezbollah bombing/attack by bombing Lebanon, Owens tweeted: “there will never be peace in the world while Israel exists.”**** Although claiming to be a Christian, her statement reveals she neither reads, understands, nor believes the Bible! Here is one example, 11.And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 12.And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. -Is11:11-12 As one of the great prophecies of Scriptures, Isaiah 11:11,12 declares that God will return Israel to ‘their’ land a SECOND time. Historically, we know God brought Israel back into their land from Egypt under Moses…was the first time. Yet, we can discern the ‘second’ return because in this prophecy, Isaiah lists the “NATIONS”--plural, AND…the “ISLANDS OF THE SEA”—plural…from which Israel will return. In other words, there is only ‘one’ time in history that Israel returned to their land from the ‘nations’ and ‘islands of the sea’! When was that? 1948!!! Moreover, Owens declares in order to obtain world peace, we must rid ourselves of Israel’s existence!! Once again, and to the contrary, the Bible declares the opposite: 36.If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever. 37.Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. -Jer 31:36-37 In other words, the WORD OF GOD declares the ‘ONLY’ way for Israel to cease being a ‘NATION’ is for the “ordinances”***** of the heavens, i.e.the earth, moon, stars, etc., to leave their God-ordained movements!!! Therefore, Owen’s words “…while Israel exists!” cannot mean anything other than a call for the annihilation of the “NATION” of Israel!! In other words, Owens is calling for a second Holocaust! 3.My third real-time example is yet another infamous contemporary name for Jews/Israel: “Jew-as-Nazi”******. Although anything is possible for antisemites, it’s going to be very difficult to surpass the ‘Projection’ in this pejorative!! Regarding this new name, Journalist Deborah Gastfreund Schuss declares: “a perverse misappropriation of the Holocaust, which is being weaponized to slanderously portray Jews as modern-era Nazis. Known as Holocaust inversion, the narrative has already seeped into US schools’ Holocaust curricula and other lessons even before the Hamas-led massacre in Israel on October 7, 2023.” By using the name “Jew-as-Nazi” on Jews, as the world joined together to put a stop to the Nazis, so once again, the world must join together to put a stop to Israel! This is yet another call for a second Holocaust!
