Does World Population Growth Consume, Even Destroy the Earth’s Resources and Wealth? Are We Doomed?3/23/2023 In short, the following statement is the consensus of past and contemporary liberal ‘doomsayers’:
“The battle to feed all of humanity is over. In the 1970’s the world will undergo famines – hundreds of millions of people are going (emphasis mine) to starve to death” -Paul Ehrlich’s The Population Bomb*, 1968 In 1972, George Fichter wrote the following to children: “When man first began to farm, there were fewer than five million people on earth, and it took more than a million years for the population to reach that figure. But populations increase geometrically – that is they double (2,4,8,16,32, etc). Food supplies, in contrast, increase only arithmetically, a much slower process (2,4,6,8,10,12, etc)…. If the population continues to explode, many people will starve. About half of the world’s population is underfed now, with many approaching starvation.” ** In 2023, the now 90-year-old Dr. Ehrlich, not content with the failure of his former predictions, once again predicted: "The rate of extinction is extraordinarily high now and getting higher all the time," Ehrlich said. He explained, "Humanity is not sustainable. To maintain our lifestyle (yours and mine, basically) for the entire planet, you'd need five more Earths. Not clear where they're gonna come from." "I was alarmed. I am still alarmed. All of my colleagues are alarmed."*** There are two reasons these doomsayers are so very wrong. First, and most important is the Word of God. The Bible declares God created the earth “full”: “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” -Ps24:1 In other words, contrary to the ‘doomsayers’, the earth is neither running out, nor down, precisely because God created it to sustain as many people as obey God’s command to: “…multiply and replenish the earth…” (Gen1:28)!! Along with the “fullness” of the earth, God breaks it down even further declaring that the sea is full (1Chron16:32). In addition, scripture declares God possesses “…treasures in darkness, and hidden riches in secret places” (Is45:3), which also can be used to provide for mankind; and is confirmed by Jeremiah 33:3* and 1Corinthians 2:9**. And finally, even if it were possible for the earth to run out of resources, Philippians 4:19 declares God will provide for mankind using His “…riches in glory”!!!! The word “glory” transcends even the abundance God created in the earth!! Incredibly, the great provision inspired in scripture by God for man is rooted in His name El Shaddai(Gen17:1; Gen28:3), which describes His nature of “more than enough”! My second reason originates in the graphs I showed in my last tidbit, also known as General Revelation***. I added another graph from last week showing world population growth. This graph provides absolute proof that the number of people on the earth does not contribute to world starvation!! For example, look at the two graphs showing individual GDP and world population growth. First, if you look closely at the world population growth graph it reveals an explosion in population growth all over the world beginning around the early 20th century (1900). Now, if you look at the graph of the individual GDP, it also shows an upward explosion at the same time. I repeat, the rate of upward explosion for both world population and individual GDP occurred nearly exactly at the same time! If the ‘doomsayers’ were right, when the population exploded upward, assuming the same rate of food supply growth, the individual GDP of the world should have plummeted, and the world’s people should have experienced mass starvation!!! Yet, the exact opposite occurred!!! Two of the greatest examples are China and India, whose people were starving even into the 1950’s and 60’s! What happened? Innovation and technology! Simply, as the people of certain third-world nations became free, they created stuff!! Their creativity often resulted not only in stuff, but also in new ways to produce food from the nearly infinite resources of the earth that obviously and dramatically reduced starvation!!! In other words, just like God’s word declares, the earth is full and can and will produce for all its inhabitants!! “Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.” -Ps96:11 *Jer33:3- “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” **1Cor 2:9- “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” ***The knowledge God created in His creation. QuoteBit “If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the Pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.” -Charles Finney

The idea of American wealth originating in Black slavery has been proclaimed for decades but has particularly taken root in the last 10 years. The obvious reason is to give credence to the liberal myth that American wealth is stolen! I offer five answers to this falsehood: 1.First, in the history of the world, not just in America or the Western world, the existence of slavery is a constant! In other words, in every nation; every people group, every tribe; every race; every culture; and in every society, etc.—slavery existed. If slavery was able to make people wealthy…then it would have eviscerated poverty---everywhere!!! On the contrary, slavery is irrefutably the WORST economic system ever devised by man!!! Why? First, mankind cannot create success, any more than he/she can create air, lungs, the sun, the moon, the oceans, etc. God alone creates both the elements for success(earth-Ps24:1), and the principles of success* and man can only use these two areas—BECAUSE--it is God’s will for man to succeed(Josh1:8). My point is, although man has a history of trying--he cannot do life alone!! On the contrary, whenever man has attempted to go life alone--leaving God out--even when using God’s elements and principles, over time it always ends in tragic failure! Why? The pleasures of sin last only for a season(Heb11:25). Slavery is a great example of man trying to succeed without God, or do life alone. Furthermore, my next point (point 2) is yet more evidence of this human arrogance! 2.Second, slavery cannot generate enduring wealth! First, it is obvious that those enslaved accumulate no wealth—either immediate or enduring--precisely because the fruit of their labor is stolen. This point is the absolute greatest reason slavery does not create wealth!! Why? Legitimate wealth creation will benefit all! Next, just as important is that the riches of the enslaver…are fake! Why? Because of debt! The elephant in the living room of slavery is debt! I repeat, ‘slavery organically creates debt’! And again, why? Because the slaves must be fed, clothed, housed, and provided health care, to name a few—all of which must be subtracted from any profits. Slavery literally destroys the three greatest motivators of work: 1.the enslaved family-the number one motivator of wealth building, a.k.a. ‘generational wealth’; 2.it creates a hatred for work in the enslaved because it requires work without reward; and in the enslaver by creating a superiority complex, and rebellion ending in abject laziness. 3.And most importantly, slavery destroys the unique purposes of both the enslaved and the enslaver. While the destruction of the unique purpose of the enslaved is obvious, the enslaver’s unique purpose is also destroyed because all unique purpose ends with serving mankind…not only self—like slavery. Furthermore, slavery requires a force of overseers to both coerce and measure the work done; and an entirely separate security force to keep slaves from running, and bounty to re-capture them when they do! Therefore, much more money was necessary to sustain any profits—because of all the negatives. The high cost of a slave demands creative, relentless, and ever-increasing cruelty to coerce productivity. Yet, the obvious problem with cruelty is that it destroys both motivation and productivity. Cruelty often involved everything from murder, beatings, selling family members, down to a rejection of providing food(or very little food), housing, and clothing for slaves, etc.---and I repeat, all of which organically rebounded in creating even less productivity! As any rational person can understand, reward not cruelty is the greatest motivation of productivity; and productivity is God’s path to wealth(Gen1:26-28). However, slavery can create ‘some’ riches, because it involves work which is ‘THE’ foundation God created and gifted to man to facilitate financial increase. However, because riches are different from wealth, slavery can create neither wealth, nor enduring wealth!! On the contrary, the greatest productivity comes from purposed work…not coerced work! So, the curse of rejecting God’s plan for productivity (Gen1:26-28) remained in the southern states—because of their slavery! The final result is the enslaver’s riches were a mile wide, but only an inch deep!!! In other words, slavery’s actual wealth was social…it was a show! Once again, God’s word has the answer, which is “durable riches”. Proverbs 8:18 declares, “Riches and honor are with me(wisdom); yea, durable riches…”. The word “durable” conveys the idea of ‘enduring’ or ‘lasting over time’ or ‘does not decay’ which is a virtue conveyed through God’s unchanging nature, i.e.His faithfulness. In reality, only virtue can create enduring wealth! Because virtue and slavery are mutually exclusive—‘enduring wealth’ cannot be created by slavery!! 3.If it is true American wealth was stolen, then morally, it ought to be returned. The Bible calls it restitution. First, the God’s word forbids theft: “do not steal” (Ex20:15). Second, in the case where a thief is captured, Exodus 22:7 declares he/she ought to pay double in restitution. However, Proverbs 6:30-31 is much worse: “30.Men do not despise a thief if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; 31.But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.” The person, or people group, or political party, or nation, etc., who is caught stealing can’t get away with just an apology!!! No! No! No! He/they must pay restitution from 2 to 7-times what was stolen!! In other words, if America stole its wealth, it must return it 2-7 times. If that is true however, because liberal America uses the principle of ‘returning to the past to determine contemporary truth’, which allows us to conclude that America stole its contemporary wealth, to be consistent, we must also use that same principle on the restitution of any stolen wealth, which allows us to conclude that our contemporary American wealth is built upon that stolen past wealth! Because this is true, contemporary American wealth must be part of that wealth returned to those from whom it was taken! In other words, the contemporary people who proclaim American wealth is stolen, ought to be the FIRST to return their contemporary wealth to those from whom it was stolen!!!! If not… it’s called first-class hypocrisy!!! 4.In the excellent book ‘God is a Capitalist’, author Roger McKinney writes regarding the “stolen wealth of Babylon, Greece, Rome, the Ottoman Empire and Spain” which he calls “primitive accumulation”: “Their capitals became the wealthiest in their day and the envy of the world by conquering others and stealing their wealth. But, unlike America, none of those nations sparked an industrial revolution because capital decays. Capital cannot be accumulated and held on to for centuries. The owners spend it on consumption so they must continually replenish it either through conquest or through the market. Entropy destroys capital in the form of buildings and equipment. All of the ancient empires succumbed to decay when they extended their borders to the limit and could no longer conquer and steal the wealth to replenish what they had consumed.” In other words, McKinney is saying the gold etc., that was stolen from other lands by these nations was used to build buildings, roads etc. Therefore, their ‘philosophy’ that wealth must be stolen to possess and increase it cannot be sustained, without ‘continuing’ this practice over time. The problem for the plundering nations is the victim nations may either run out of wealth to steal, or they may become stronger and destroy you in battle! If America stole its past wealth, from whom is it stealing its contemporary wealth? Or, if America’s wealth is built upon Black slaves, how is America’s contemporary wealth sustained and increased considering slavery is abolished?!?!! Present-day statistics show America has the greatest GDP in the world---and it’s not even close! On the contrary, plundering wealth is not God’s design for nations to possess wealth…creating it is!! For this, and other reasons, nations remained poor until God’s system for creating wealth, i.e.free markets, arose at the end of the 19th century! Remember, my point is that slavery does not create wealth---and for millenniums, although history is full of slavery, that very history proves slavery has never produced wealth! This fourth point leads inexorably into my fifth and final point. 5.The first graph below is from ‘Economics 201’ called the ‘Hockey Stick’ graph. It reveals that individual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) remained basically the same until the end of the 18th century. The second graph lists the same information by nation. These graphs are the ‘mic-drop’ evidence: 1.slavery does not create wealth 2.Black slaves did not create American wealth First, notice the ‘Hockey Stick’ graph line remains constant for millenniums!!! Individual GDP remained low in spite of…or better yet…BECAUSE of, the fact that slavery existed in every nation, among every people group for thousands of years—all over the world!!! Second, as the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were created and implemented in 1789, slavery began to end in America toward the end of the 18th century! Incredibly however, the graphs reveal that as slavery ended in America, American GDP began to rise…but not only in America—it began to rise all over the world! Why? The American Declaration of Independence and Constitution were God-designed not only for America, but to usher in freedom all over the world!!! Check-out the prophecy of Abraham Lincoln: “The Declaration of Independence gave liberty not alone to the people of this country, but hope to all the world, for all future time. It was that which gave promise that in due time the weights would be lifted from the shoulders of all men, and that all should have an equal chance. This is the sentiment embodied in the Declaration of Independence...” I repeat, notice the individual GDP line began to rise at the end of the 18th century but made a steep incline beginning at the end of the 19th century--in spite of the abolishment of slavery!!! And what’s more, the GDP line literally ‘shot up’ through the 20th century!!! AND, what’s more again….look what nation led the way in the rise of individual GDP: The United States of America!! As other nations began to apply the freedoms found through the Western Culture**, whose origin is Gal.5:1,13, Lev.25:10*** etc., then those nations, even though they were pagan, also had a steep rise in their GDP!! Of course, the freedoms of America happened through the Biblical economic system of Capitalism—which is that same system that also allowed for the nations of the world to financially prosper! In conclusion, these graphs are incontrovertible evidence proving that American wealth was not built on slavery!!! I repeat, America did not steal her great wealth from the Black slaves!!! *i.Special revelation, i.e.The Bible, for example, Josh 1:8; ii.General revelation. God created principles in His created things that facilitate success, for example the law of sowing and reaping (Gen8:22). **The Judaeo-Christian ethic ***The verse on the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. **The verse on the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. QuoteBit "The time has come for Christians to vote for honest men, and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them...Politics are a part of religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to their country as a part of their duty to God." -Charles Finney, preacher, Revivalist, University president. Theology means the study of God. Liberal Theology means the study of God from a liberal perspective. So…what is liberalism?
1828 Webster’s Dictionary definition of liberalism: 1.Of a free heart; free to give or bestow; not close or contracted; munificent; bountiful; generous; giving largely; as a liberal donor; the liberal founders of a college or hospital. It expresses less than profuse or extravagant. 2.Generous; ample; large; as a liberal donation; a liberal allowance. 3.Not selfish, narrow on contracted; catholic; enlarged; embracing other interests than one’s own; as liberal sentiments or views; a liberal mind; liberal policy. 4.General; extensive; embracing literature and the sciences generally; as a liberal education. This phrase is often but not necessarily synonymous with collegiate; as a collegiate education. 5.Free; open; candid; as a liberal communication of thoughts. 6.Large; profuse; as a liberal discharge of matter by secretions or excretions. 7.Free; not literal or strict; as a liberal construction of law. 8.Not mean; not low in birth or mind. 9.Licentious; free to excess. If one knows anything at all about the nature of God, the first seven entries align with God’s word1--describing Biblical principles such as generosity and unselfishness to which every Christian should aspire. For example, generosity is encouraged in Proverbs 11:25(NAS). The KJV actually uses the word “liberal” for the same word translated as “generous” in the NAS version. In addition, the Bible uses other synonymous words in place of the word “generous” such as “bountiful”(2Cor9:6). The above definitions also convey freedom (Gal5:1,13); the pursuit of knowledge(Pro2:3;Pro4:7;Pro10:14;Col2:3); while rejecting selfishness(Mat20:28; Phil1:17(NAS); Jms3:14(NAS). Obviously, the first seven definitions of ‘liberal’ portray the Biblical values of generosity, selflessness, and freedom. YET… for these very reasons, many believers are deceived! But Why? Because as Galatians 5:9 (AMP) declares: “A little leaven (a slight inclination to error, or a few false teachers) leavens the whole lump…” In other words, although leaven is small when added to bread, it is that critical ingredient that enlarges the entire loaf. The Bible uses leaven to represent sin. As a little sin goes without discernment, it eventually fills, overwhelms, and destroys. Although there are so many good definitions of liberal, its deception lay in its ninth definition: Licentious; free to excess. In reality, the ninth entry ‘is’ Liberalism’s literal face—while the previous eight definitions serve only as masks. Dictionary.com defines ‘licentious’ as: sexually unrestrained; lascivious; libertine; lewd, unrestrained by law or general morality; lawless, immoral. Galatians 5:19 teaches that the word lasciviousness is a work of the flesh and a synonym for licentiousness which in the Greek means: sexual excess, absence of restraint, insatiable desire for pleasure, arrogance, insolence referring to words; wantonness, lustfulness, excessive pleasure. However, the actual practice of lasciviousness might be better defined as ‘one thing leads to another’! Why? Because the actual practice of sexual sin naturally descends to new lows. By nature, sin is not stagnant, but can only spiral downward(Jms1:15) toward ever-increasing evil. Therefore, and ironically, the freedom of Webster’s first 7 good definitions is completely offset by the evil of the ninth! However, by marketing the above good points, Liberalism has been able to mask the horror of its licentiousness (lasciviousness), giving it credibility in the minds and hearts of many. This mask is a façade, covering its real face, hiding its real agenda…until it is adopted AND established in the culture! Yet remember, this liberal mask only deceives those people who want to be deceived. John 3:19 clearly describes this evil phenomenon: “…men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” Other liberal masks include: equality, compassion, tolerance, love, and kindness, etc. Liberals will wear one or more of these masks to gain approval or acceptance so that they may be thought of as morally superior. What I find incredibly disheartening is that the aforementioned masks are able to fool good people because the values originate in the Judaeo-Christian ethic of which America still possesses a remnant. Yet, and I repeat, under these masks of Judaeo-Christian values lay some of the greatest evil of our present day: Communism/Socialism, intolerance, racism, atheism, hatred (especially of Christians & God), antisemitism, envy; and of course, liberalism’s greatest attraction: sexual license!! Allow me to remind you: licentiousness equals sexual license! At its core, liberalism is a doctrine of the religion of Atheism.2 However, along with liberalism which is atheism’s social doctrine, some of atheism’s other doctrines are the following: -Communism/Socialism/Fascism, its political doctrines; -Darwinism/Evolution, its science doctrine; -Relativism, its life doctrine; -Lasciviousness, its sexual doctrine. In conclusion, what we are seeing in today’s culture is the practice of Liberal Theology. For example, Liberalism deals with sin3 8 ways: 1.Ignore sin. In their hearts, liberalism ignores God’s Word, rejecting His definitions of good and evil in order to live anyway they want—calling it freedom. Mottos: “to each his own”; “if it feels good do it! 2.Reject sin. They become embolden, and begin to publicly challenge anyone who stands on God’s word. Here they begin the process of rejecting America’s foundational Christian roots and the character of our nation’s Founders. The separation of church and state4 also begins here. 3.Promote sin. Liberals begin to publicly act on their sin, mock God, His word, parade their sin through the streets and explode it on social media, entertainment, sports, etc. Here is where they use public schools to impose and indoctrinate sexual perversion as their primary weapon to groom children. 4.Ban the righteous. The process of banning God, His Word, and the persecution of the righteous begins. Religious broadcasts and free speech are censured by the media, and businesses are persecuted and Christians cancelled. 5.Legislate sin. They publicly act to codify sin, while also making Biblical righteousness illegal. America is currently here! 6.Fine resistors. Liberals impose financial fines on those who resist their views. Churches fined for gathering and having services during covid. Preaching against sin is hate speech. Some of America is here! 7.Imprison. They will eventually imprison those who reject their views 8.Martyrdom. Liberals will ultimately murder those who reject their views Without the Word of God, the natural mind will accept the politically correct but unscriptural Liberal Theology. Like Noah in the day of evil, let’s continue to pray and stand strong as “preachers of righteousness” knowing that we have been given the “ministry of reconciliation” to a generation lost in their sin. Obviously, liberalism does not come from God! (1Tim4:1) 1The eighth entry is questionable. 2However, liberalism can also be designated a religion, without much debate. 3Liberalism uses sexual license as its primary weapon to open the door for its other positions. 4The liberal re-definition of the ‘separation of church and state’ is the ‘separation of God from the state’. In the liberal mind, separating church and state means to remove God (and the Bible) from every public place first, which ultimately climaxes in its removal from every private place. The best evidence of this is Nazi, Germany. QuoteBit Faith alone saves, but a faith that saves is not alone. -John Calvin Over the past several years, I have come under criticism for using the word ‘liberal’ or ‘liberalism’ in sermons or in my writings. I have been accused of willfully offending people; triggering people, and even attempting to build a social club by excluding liberals from our Church1. However, I apologize for not doing this earlier, but now I feel an urgent need to share the reason behind my actions. This tidbit is not designed to define liberalism but to unveil my calling to raise my voice against it. I’m fully aware that many don’t understand the term ‘liberal’, so I will use some following tidbit(s) to fully explain it.
To make a long story short, God called me to preach the gospel while I was in California following my graduation from Georgetown University in 1978. One of the things that came with my calling was an intense desire to read. First, my ‘fire to read’ landed on reading the Bible, and then on other things related to the Bible. For example, God used eschatology, the study of ‘End Times’, to grow and retain my interest in reading. Second, because I worked in full-time ministry playing basketball for Athletes in Action(AIA), a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, I often had large chunks of time in a day for reading and studying the Bible, and books on prophecy. I also read from secular magazines and newspapers such as ‘Time’, ‘Newsweek’, ‘US News and World Report’, the LA Times, the Chicago Suntimes and Tribune etc. As prophecy teachers taught me, I needed to match what was happening in the culture with the Bible’s instruction of Eschatology. It was certainly a fascinating journey, and…it was during this time that I learned a great deal about applying the Bible to my personal life, and philosophy!!! This experience lasted through my three years at AIA (1979-81), and continued up through around 1990ish. However, soon thereafter, I began to notice something wrong with the writer’s opinions, but I could not identify it. Several years later, in the mid to late 1990’s, the Holy Spirit led me to an internet news publication called WorldNetDaily, along with a few others. The writers were Christians who wrote from a Biblical worldview. Although it took me another three or four years, God began to show me exactly what I did not understand from reading those secular news writers! And what was it that? In short, liberalism. Liberalism is anti-Bible, and therefore anti-Christ! Once I understood this was God’s view of liberalism, the Lord spoke directly to me: “I want you to raise up your voice against liberalism!” But why? God showed me: 1.liberalism rejects the Bible, and by default God’s view of the world 2.liberalism redefines sin: i.as not evil. In other words, liberalism rejects what God calls sin. ii.as normal. Liberalism seeks to normalize sin iii.by marketing sin as good 3.Because liberalism rejects the Bible, it rejects the Great Commission. Therefore, the more liberal Christians become, the more they neglect, and even reject doing the Great Commission 4.Because liberalism redefines sin, it ends with a rejection of Christ. Liberalism is ‘THE’ reason more and more youth are rejecting Christ, and leaving the church! Although from Britain, William Booth(1829-1913), the founder of the Salvation Army, accurately prophesied of liberalism’s catastrophic impact on the Judaeo/Christian American culture: “The chief danger of the 20th century will be religion without the Holy Ghost; Christianity without Christ; forgiveness without repentance; salvation without regeneration, politics without God; and heaven without hell.” However, to my embarrassment and everlasting shame, after the Lord spoke so clearly to me, I rejected His instruction!! I reasoned that I did not want to become controversial for fear of being rejected by both Christians and non-Christians alike! In other words, I said, “NO!” because of a fear of rejection! However, in spite of this sin, the Lord Jesus was faithful to me for an additional 12 years continually encouraging me through my rebellion to take a stand! It was not until around 2012 or so, that like Jonah, I reluctantly gave in! Since that time, He gave me the Biblical evidence for His calling to raise my voice against the philosophy of liberalism: “Cry aloud; do not hold back; lift up your voice like a trumpet; declare to my people their transgression, to the house of Jacob their sins2” -Is58:1 NAS “You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin” -Heb12:4 NAS These verses teach at least two things: 1.they reveal the reason God called me to cry out against sin 2.they reveal the truth that every Christian is called to cry out against sin, especially preachers. In conclusion, if you re-examine the present American culture in light of what I shared in this tidbit, you will find most pastors (and Christians) are silent in the face of liberals boldly attacking Christ!! In other words, liberals are doing exactly what God called the church to do---but exactly the opposite! Reformer Martin Luther unashamedly declared, “If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest expression every portion of the truth of God, except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ however boldly I may be professing Christ. Wherever the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved.” 1.I most certainly do not want to ‘exclude liberals’ or any other person from our church, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and need the gospel of Jesus Christ. Psalm 119:130 declares, The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. 2.The entire Old Testament is filled with prophets crying out against the sins of kings, nations, the people. Tidbit "Preach the Gospel at all times. Where necessary, use words." St Fransis of Assisi The law of God has too often been disregarded in our contemporary culture, even among Christians. The following is to help elucidate the role of the law in our lives. These 6 purposes are taken from Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum’s great work, ‘Israelology’.
1.Reveal the holiness of God, and to reveal the standard of righteousness which God demanded for a proper relationship with Him (Lev19:1-2,37; Lev11:44; 1Pet1:15-16). The law is holy, righteous, and good (Rom7:12) 2.The second purpose of the law was to provide the rule of conduct for the Old Testament saints (Lev11:44-45; Lev19:2; Lev20:7-8,26). For the Old Testament believer, the law was the center of his spiritual life and his delight (Ps119:77,97, 103-104,159). 3.The next purpose was to keep the Jews a distinct people (Lev 11:44-45; Deut 7:6- Deut14:1-2). This was the specific reason for many of the laws. The Jews were to be distinct from all other people in a variety of ways, as in the worship habits (Lev1,7,16,23), eating habits(Lev11:1-47), sexual habits (Lev12), clothing habits (Lev19:19), and even the way they cut their beards (Lev19:27). Other passages for this point include Exodus 19:5-8; Exodus 31:13. 4.The fourth purpose of the Mosaic Law was to reveal sin. Three passages in the book of Romans point this out. The first is Romans 3:19-20, where Paul emphasized that there is no justification through the law; by means of the law, no Jewish person will be justified. What is the law if not a way of justification, or a way of salvation? The law was there to provide the knowledge of sin; to reveal exactly what sin is. The second passage is Romans 5:20: the law was given so that trespasses might be made very clear. How does one know he has sinned? He knows because the law spelled out in detail what was permitted and what was not. The law with its 613 commandments revealed sin. The third passage is Romans 7:7. Paul again emphasized the fact that the law was given so that sin might be made known. Paul became aware of his sinful state by looking into the law and knowing that on the basis of the law, he fell short 5.The fifth purpose was to increase sin (Rom4:15, Rom 5:20) or to make sin undeniable in our lives. The picture Paul gives is that the law came in to cause more sin, to actually make one sin more. How does this work? Paul explained in Romans 7:7-13; and 1Corinthians 15:56. Basically, what Paul taught is that the sin nature needs a base of operation. Furthermore, the sin nature uses the law as a base of operation. This is so very necessary because the human propensity is to justify ourselves, to mitigate our own sin! 6.The sixth purpose was to drive one to faith, according to Romans 8:1-4 and Galatians 3:24-25. This final purpose of the law was to bring one to saving faith, faith in the Messiah. As you can see, the law is still important, we need it…especially considering the culture in which we now live has no understanding of sin—the fourth purpose of the law above. QuoteBit I do not know how much of the Lord you have in your life, but you have as much as you want in your life. -James O Davis The Second Amendment-3: God’s View
What I personally find earth-shaking when pondering today’s culture wars is the nearly complete propensity of Christians--‘NOT’ to use God’s Word in their interactions with liberals!! Because the liberal view is so often anti-God, anti-Christ, and anti-Bible, it is no surprise their opinions completely ignore God and His Word (Bible). However, while the conservative view ‘normally’ originates from General Revelation1--which refers to the laws of God created in nature—tragically, even conservatives do not often enough use the Bible (Special Revelation)—to support their contentions! But why should the Word of God be used in the culture wars? Because the Bible possesses inherent power(Heb4:12)!! Because the Word of God sets the captive free(Jn8:31,32)!! Because the entrance of God’s Word brings light (Ps119:30)!!! In other words, the Bible directly answers every problem or offers the principle to determine God’s will in every situation! So, what does the Bible contend regarding the “Second Amendment’s” right to possess a firearm? First, the Bible declares that God created ‘hell’(Mat25:41) which is His righteous judgment of death on sin. Therefore, it was God Who created the potential of spiritual death on sin (Gen2:17; Deut30:19), imposing its penalty (Rom6:28) on those who reject Him(2Thes1:7-9). In other words, the idea of death as a penalty began with God. Second, because man is a sinner (Rom3:23), we do not wait long before we see the manifestation of this ‘death’ in the Biblical text! For example, the consequence of ‘death’ that occurred when Adam and Eve sinned (Rom5:12) included their instantaneous spiritual death and subsequent physical death, climaxing in the spiritual and physical death of all mankind (Rom5:18-19)!! Third, within the spiritual death resulting from Adam’s sin, the ‘sin nature’ of man was conceived, meaning mankind is born in sin(Ps51:5). In that ‘sin nature’ of man resides violence and destruction toward all God’s creation, especially mankind, as evidenced by the first recorded murder of Abel by Cain—within one generation!!! However, as we learned in part two of this tidbit series on the Second Amendment, when the God who cannot die created all life, He created inherent to that life the power of self-preservation, from which organically flows self-defense. Very simply, all living things possess the desire to continue their lives! For example, regarding mankind we see God’s provision for protection in: 1.God’s creation of angels sent to protect man(Ps34:7; Ps91:11;Dan12:1); 2.the wisdom of God provided to protect our souls (Ps1:1-4; 3Jn2); and 3.the mandate to “take dominion” over the earth(Gen1:26-28), from which mankind creates not only clothing and shelter for protection but also physical weapons derived from the earth to defend himself from other men and dangerous animals. Let’s move forward now to other Biblical passages (Special Revelation) that teach God’s view on weapons. The Bible’s Protection mandate: 1.God promise to be mankind’s protector (Gen15:1; Ps91:4) More Scripture on Self-Defense* 2.Rom12:18- “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men”. This verse is the ultimate self-defense Biblical principle for existing with men with sin natures(Ps37:32). 3.Pro25:26- “A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.” Instead of defending against evil, this passage speaks to appeasement of evil; of not recognizing evil; or not standing against evil. The Bible’s assumption of arms, or the direct mention of arms The Bible’s war mandate 4.Exodus 15:3: God is called a “man of war”. Wars are fought with weapons to defend self or others. 5.One of God’s immutable names is ‘The Lord of Hosts’ which means “The Lord of armies” (Ps24:10; Ps46:7). This teaches Jesus leads armies into battle. Armies possess arms. 6.Michael the archangel is known in Christendom as the angel of war (Dan10:13,21;12:1). Of course, in war lives are taken by the opposition. Furthermore, when Michael fights the dragon, the war occurs ‘in heaven’(Rev12:7). Because weapons are required to fight wars, does this imply there are weapons in heaven? Obviously, the answer is YES! Yet, if this is true, from where did the weapons originate considering that he is fighting in heaven? Again, does heaven allow weapons? 7.Is37:35,36. The angel of the Lord (probably Michael) killed 185,000 soldiers in one night, did he use a weapon to take that many lives? I ask again, if the archangel used a weapon, from where did he get it? And why would he need a weapon in heaven, in God’s very presence? Abraham’s militia. 8.Gen14:1-16. Four kings abducted Lot, and Abraham warred against them with 318 men from his own household. Genesis 14:14 in the KJV says Abraham “armed” the men. This means he possessed the arms in order to arm them. In addition, all Bible versions declare his men were “trained”; but trained by whom, and for what? The obvious answer is trained for war or trained to kill…using a weapon. Second, Abraham is called the “father of faith” (Rom4:11,12; Gal3:6). If he is the father of faith, and faith includes passivism, how is Gen14:1-16 to be interpreted? Jesus’ Own Words 9.Matthew 10:34- “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” This passage declares a purpose for Jesus coming to the earth… yet, it also clearly and irrefutably advocates in behalf of arms! I repeat, Jesus instructed us to use arms!!! 10.Luke 22:36- “Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one!” Jesus commands the purchase of a sword, which means--like the Second Amendment—the Bible teaches arms ownership!! The Apostles 11.John 18:10 “Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus” Matt26:51-52; Mk14:47). Peter was armed with a sword in the presence of Jesus! 12.Luke 22:49 – “When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?” In other words, the word “they” refers to either ‘some’, or ‘all’ of Jesus’ disciples. In other words, not only Peter but either ‘some’ or ‘all’ of Jesus’ disciples carried swords!!! Two final points: i.The disciples/apostles carried swords, not knives. Although I love the movie series “Chosen”, however they depict the apostles’ carrying knives. On the contrary, the Greek word in Luke 22:49 means “sword”. ii.However, the most amazing part of the Jn18:10 and Lu22:49 passages is that the Apostles were in a prayer meeting! I repeat, the apostles brought their swords to Jesus’ prayer meeting!!! In conclusion, all of the scripture and points of this 3-part tidbit series are secondary to ‘spiritual warfare’ (Eph6:10-18) God commands us to first wage against Satan (1Pet5:8;2Cor10:4) and his emissaries, using the Word of God in our mouths(Heb4:12)! My ultimate objective in the 3 Tidbits of this series is to help unveil the Biblical roots of our Founder’s Second Amendment!! * I highly recommend reading about the Bombardier Beetle. It possesses one of the most amazing systems of self-defense in all of God’s creation—possessing mind-boggling complexity. Yet, it was God who created this insect with a natural self-defense---that emanates from self-preservation!! Quotebit "Any human anywhere will blossom in a hundred unexpected talents and capacities simply by being given the opportunity to do so." -Doris Lessing There are at least two sources of revelation from God to man. First, Special Revelation is God revealing Himself through the Bible. Second, General Revelation is God revealing Himself in/through His creation(Rom1:20).
Let’s begin with the creation, i.e.General Revelation, to elucidate the law of nature: self-defense. When God created all things (Col1:16), He created from Himself. In short, this means because God has a nature, when He created, He created all things with a ‘nature’! Because God behaves according to His nature, we can determine how God behaves by studying His nature. Furthermore, we can also learn about God through studying the behavior of His creation. In other words, all beings or things, animate or inanimate, behave according to their God-determined natures—beginning with God Himself (2Timothy 2:13). For example, a dog’s nature creates the following four behaviors: 1.barks 2.loyalty 3.loves unconditionally 4.protect Even out of the sight of a dog, when a bark is heard, one does not think of an alligator, or a crab, or an insect. As a matter of fact, a dog’s bark is so natural and unique that one can determine not only the presence of a dog, but the size of the dog. When small dogs bark, we call it a ‘yap’. When large dogs bark, they possess a deep, guttural, powerful sound that is often recognizable from great distances. In many cases, a dog barks because it encounters a person or animal it is uncertain of! Therefore, a dog barks to warn or protect…which is the dog’s nature! Regarding protection, there are at least two laws of nature created inside all of God’s creation: 1.Self-preservation 2.Self-defense One-time my friend had a pet parakeet bird and it escaped its cage and flew up to the corner of the room. I reached up and grabbed it with my bare hand before it could fly away…and it bit me! After I screamed in pain and let go, it flew out of the room so I could never touch it again. This is an example of self-preservation; then self-defense; then self-preservation again. When it escaped it was preserving itself; when it bit me it was defending itself; when it flew out of the room it was preserving itself…again!!! But where did the dog and the parakeet learn such behavior? Who taught them? On the contrary, both laws of self-preservation and self-defense are written into the genes of all living things. Therefore, the dog and the parakeet did not have to be trained--God created them from His own nature of protection(Ps34:7; Ps91)! Because humans are created by the same God, the laws of self-preservation and self-defense are also found written into our natures. For example, nearly every child encounters a ‘bully’ at some point in their school experience. Their first reaction is to flee. However, every person intuitively understands a ‘bully’ feeds on his victim’s fear. Therefore, it is common knowledge that the only way to stop a bully is for him/her to encounter some sort of penalty in response to his/her ‘bullying’. Three methods of restraining bullying are: 1.Appealing to either the parents of the bully, or school authorities to intervene and impose a penalty on the bully; or 2.Have a friend or another person intercede1 in behalf of the victim; or 3.The victim rises up and imposes some sort of pain on the bully2! All three responses, with special emphasis on point 3--is self-defense! Remember, from boxing, to wrestling, to Karate, to Taekwondo, up to and including war, self-defense has been, and is still taught all over the world in every nation and people group…which is why it is written on the human heart! Christians have even created “Just War” principles to govern what is moral and immoral in war!! But why? Because both self-preservation and self-defense are laws written on the genes of every human to combat the sin nature of man! Therefore, because of their Christian worldview, the Framers understood that human nature is evil: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” -Jer 17:9(KJV) And “…but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin” (NAS) “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells…” (NKJV) -Rom7:14 Therefore, the Bill of Rights establishes within the authority of civil law, the rights of its citizens to the protections of: self-preservation, and second: self-defense!! I repeat, these are innate and God-created in mankind!!3 Therefore, the Second Amendment--which is an individual right--is the natural end of the two laws of nature written on every human heart. Therefore, the possession of a fire-arm is ‘THE’ greatest natural deterrent to the evil of the human sin nature! Even a young, 250-pound muscled former line-backer will ‘press-the-pause-button’ on a 100 pound, very feminine woman in high heels…at even the thought of her gun! Why? Two reasons: 1.Her self-defense! 2.His self-preservation! Thank-God for our Founding Fathers!!! Amen..and so be it!!!! 1.Confronting the bully with either words or physically 2.Normally, a bully is not discouraged by the mere words of his/her victim. This confrontation is normally physical. 3.Although the police, which are government representatives, play an indispensable and irreplaceable role in discouraging man’s sin nature, if someone breaks into your house, there is no injunction by God to wait for the police to arrive!!! Why? Every human has a God-given right to self-preservation! Can any man honestly say, if a man breaks into his 7-year old’s daughter’s room at night, and she screams “Daddy help!”, that that man will respond, “Ok…everyone calm down, while I call the police!”?!?!?!?! No father (or mother) on earth, nor in history, would react that way! Quotebit You will either stand for Jesus, or you will stand for all He died to repudiate. -George Barna First, I would like lay-out the reasons for the Second Amendment. And second, in the tidbit(s) that follow, I will offer what God thinks about gun rights.
The Second Amendment declares: “A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” There are 2 interpretations of this amendment: a.the Second Amendment is an individual right b.the Second Amendment is a collective, protecting the right of a state militia, but not individuals to possess arms In this first tidbit, I argue the logic for the right of individuals to own guns. Following are six reasons extracted from ‘laws of nature’ (Rom1:20) written in the creation that inspired the Founding Fathers to believe in individual gun rights. 1.Kings. The Framers understood rights to apply to individuals given by God, because they came from Europe where kings determined rights. In other words, at the time the Bill of Rights were being considered, kings ruled all over the world, and it was the king who determined the rights of their subjects. 2.Individual Rights. The Bill of Rights was created to secure (Preamble) individual rights. Because the Second Amendment is one of the Bill of Rights, and the Bill of Rights are individual Rights, the second Amendment’s context is irrefutable evidence that it was designed to apply to individuals. In other words, why would the Framers place the Second Amendment in the context of the Bill of Rights—which was designed to secure individual rights? 3.Freedom of Press. Allow me to return to the First Amendment for a moment where the Bill of Rights includes the ‘Freedom of Press’. Does the ‘Freedom of Press’ apply only to the government? In other words, if the right to a ‘Freedom of the Press’ only gives the government a right to report, then commentators on TitTok, Youtube, Facebook, and podcasts; not to mention NBC, CBS, New York Times, Time Magazine, Newsweek, etc., are all violating the law! Why? Because none of these people or news organizations are government approved or sponsored! On the contrary, just as the ‘Freedom of the Press’ is an individual right, so also gun ownership is an individual. 4.People, Keep, Bear, Militia. 4.i.The phrase “right of the people to keep and bear arms”, means just what it says, “people” have a right “keep and bear” arms. The word “people” is comprised of individuals, which means those individuals who make up the word “people” each have a right to “bear arms”, i.e. own guns. The reason each person has a right is because groups of people are comprised of individual people! 4.ii.Second, are we to believe that it is possible to reject the clear definition of the word “keep” to mean its direct opposite: that the “people” cannot “keep” their arms—which is what is necessary in order to make the second amendment refer only to the militia as a group of people? If in fact you decide to believe that the definitions of “people” and “keep” do change when in the context of the word “militia”, please explain how the words “people” and “keep” are redefined to support this position? 4.iii.Fourth, while you are redefining the words “keep” and “people”, please include the word “bear” too. However, just remember the Dictionary.com definition of the following two words are as follows: a.“keep”=retain possession b.“bear”=reveal/unveil at any moment necessary. Or, to carry; to convey; to support and remove from place to place 4.iv.In conclusion, what kind of tortured logic would allow the Framers to argue that the words “keep and bear” arms: a.only applies to a government sponsored “militia” when the militia is made up of “the people” who are each ‘citizens’ of the nation? b.applies only when the militia is fighting a government-approved battle, which means when the government battle concludes the militia must return their arms! 5.Army, Navy,Militia,James Madison 5.i.If one believes the word “militia” applies only to a government-trained and supplied military, why did the Framers not use the word “army”(navy, Marines, etc), which is the word most often used to identify a government-run military? 5.ii.If it is true that the militia is a government military force, and if it is true that only the militia can “keep and bear” arms, then would not every man simply join the “militia” in order to “keep and bear” their arms after they fought in a battle? 5.iii.James Madison. In Federalist Paper 46, James Madison confirms that the Framers believed there to be a difference between an ‘army’ and a ‘militia’: “This proportion would not yield in the United States an army of more than 25 or 30,000 men. To them would be opposed a militia amounting to near a half-million of citizens with arms in their hands, officered by men chosen from among themselves fighting for their common liberties and united and conducted by governments possessing their affections and confidence. It may well be doubted whether a militia of such circumstance could ever be conquered by such a proportion of regular troops. Those who are acquainted with the last successful resistance of this country against British arms will be most inclined to deny the impossibility of it.” Notice that James Madison perfectly established the point that the militia were non-government individuals because in his statement he contrasts them (militia) against the army, when using the phrase: “an army of more than 25 or 30,000 men”. In addition, he not only used the word “militia”, but he also used the word “citizens” to define those in the militia who had the following rights: “a militia amounting to near a half-million of citizens with arms in their hands”. The use of the word “citizen” is still more evidence that Madison believed that as the second amendment applied to the militia…it applied to individuals!!!! While it may not be completely clear—to us contemporaries---why or how the word “militia” was used in the Second Amendment, one thing we can be absolutely certain of, and that is the Framers did not mean for the word ‘militia’ to exclude individuals from owning arms. And I repeat, remember, when the second amendment was debated and passed(1789), the U.S. had just won the war with Britain---therefore the Framers understood the definition of an army! 6.Why then did the Framers advocate for individuals to possess guns? Four reasons: 6.i.To hunt for food 6.ii.Home Self-defense. (Which I will cover in another tidbit) 6.iii.Foreign invasion. This should be an obvious reason because the War for Independence (Revolutionary War) was fought by American farmers, i.e.ordinary people--not well-trained or experienced soldiers. 6.iv.Government tyranny. The Framers wanted individuals to be armed in case the government began attacking its own people. The Framers believed it was possible for the government to attack their people. James Madison also wrote in Federalist Paper 46: “Let a regular army fully equal to the resources of the country be formed, and let it be entirely at the devotion of the federal government, still it would not be going too far to say that the state government with the people on their side would be able to repel the danger.” And…what did James Madison mean by “repel” the danger? I repeat, what danger? The military danger the federal government poses to its citizens! 1.webstersdictionary1828.com The Democratic Party completely rejects the Judeo/Christian ethic (which is an euphemism for Christianity)!! They accomplish this through:
1.actively supporting every moral evil in our contemporary culture 2.advertise/market those evils to the culture For example, a short list of the Democrat Party’s sins includes: 1.Abortion 2.Racism, including antisemitism 3.Homosexuality 4.Gay Marriage. This constitutes the destruction of marriage! 5.Transgenderism 6.Every ‘other’ sexual perversion. Adultery, fornication, LBGTQii, etc. 7.Open Borders 8.Hatred of America, which means to reject: a.God’s call upon this nation b.Founding documents, such as the Constitution, Declaration, Northwest Ordinance For example, rejecting free speech, freedom of religion, and promoting gun control 9.Atheism. 10.Communism/Socialism/Fascism. Or, any and all autocratic governments. I am literally shocked how any Christian can support the Democrat Party because of its agenda of promotion support for these and other blatant sins. Their support for abortion alone, the murder (1Jn3:15) of children in the womb, should be enough to inspire any/all Christians to reject the Democrat Party!!! Remember, Jesus died for sin!!! Therefore, a holy God cannot involve Himself with even one sin, let alone the above list citing their concentration of abject evil! To be short, the root reason for such a concentration of sin is liberalism. While the Republican Party is up to 30% liberal, the Democrat party has adopted liberalism hook, line, and sinker, which I repeat, is THE primary reason Democrats have fallen into such debauchery! The 1828 Webster’s Dictionary definition of ‘liberal’ helps elucidate my point. The word ‘liberal’ has 9 entries. For example, the first two are: 1.Of a free heart; free to give or bestow; not close or contracted; munificent; bountiful; generous; giving largely; as a liberal donor; the liberal founders of a college or hospital. It expresses less than profuse or extravagant. 2.Generous; ample; large; as a liberal donation; a liberal allowance. However, the ninth entry is: 9.Licentious; free to excess. According to Dictionary.com, the word “licentious” means: 1.sexually unrestrained; lascivious; libertine; lewd. 2.unrestrained by law or general morality; lawless; immoral. The word “lasciviousness” is mentioned in Galatians 5:19 as a work of the flesh, which means sin. Selah!!! Please stop and rethink the definitions of licentious and lascivious!!! Moving forward. To further help make my point, the Bible contrasts sin with leaven.1 In other words, the nature of leaven in bread makes bread grow and fill out. Therefore, sin is exactly like leaven meaning whenever and wherever sin is permitted, it grows, fills, dominates, controls, and corrupts…ultimately ending with destruction!!! To tie all this up, the idea of ‘freedom’ is included in the definition of ‘liberal’. And, as Webster’s dictionary so eloquently describes, freedom is good, because God created freedom from His nature, Whom is good and does good2! Subsequently, God gave freedom to mankind as a gift. For example, in Genesis Chapter One God created everything including the Garden of Eden, and then told Adam he is free to eat of every tree in the Garden…except one: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil! Therefore, although mankind is free, he/she does not have the freedom to sin. At the point of ‘freedom and sin’ is ‘THE’ problem for liberalism. For example, historically, in the 1960s, Classical Liberals3 argued morally and persuasively for the Civil Rights movement, i.e. the freedom of Black people, which obviously is good and moral. However, because they did not use the Judeo-Christian ethic (God’s absolute law) as their standard for determining good and evil, they had no way of understanding the consequence of man’s sin nature on freedom’s nature. In other words, they did not understand that freedom is not absolute, but had to be limited because of man’s sinful nature!!! Therefore, the contemporary culture’s license to sin, or the idea that man is free to do whatever he wants, was imperceptible as a tiny seed in historical Classical Liberalism! In other words, although the Classical Liberalism of the past possessed the Biblical principles of freedom, and the freedom of speech---over time, an uncontrolled freedom descends to its natural state: the pseudo-freedom of licentiousness or lasciviousness, climaxing in sexual activity without restraint!!! Hence…the contemporary Democrat Party’s licentiousness/lasciviousness, which includes sexual license!!!! In conclusion, God never gave humanity unlimited freedom! Even before Adam sinned, God told him you may eat of every true…except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which forever condemns unlimited human freedom!4 On the contrary, Satan has used the Democrat Party to deceive people into believing the lie: “You are free to do whatever you want!” As far as I am aware, the only commandment of the Satanic Bible is: “Do what thou wilst!” For this reason, the Democrat Party has adopted, and now champions every cultural evil contrary to the Word of God and should be rejected by every Christian!!! 1.The Bible uses leaven in a good and evil context, but the principle remains the same: leaven grows and fills wherever its used(good- Mat13:33; evil-Ex23:18; good and evil-1Cor5:6-8). 2.Ps119:68 3.Today’s ‘Classical Liberals’ attempt to separate themselves from the free-for-all contemporary liberals by calling them: “Leftists”. However, this doesn’t work because Classical Liberals use the same liberalism, which is without limits apart from God’s word!!! I repeat, sin is present in humanity, therefore man’s freedom demands a limit! 4. Even God cannot break His word! (Num23:19) I don’t agree with everything the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) acvocates, but they do keep accurate records on anti-semitism. They call ‘Democrat’ Louis Farrakhan:
Following is their evidence3: “Why isn’t the white man a native anywhere? You’re not a native Palestinian, no you’re not. You didn’t originate there. But if you did, then you’re the real Semitic people. But the Ashkenazi European, he has no connection at all to the Holy Land. None! So in a showdown prove to us that you are Semitic. Let’s go on with it, it’s our time now!” — Speech at Mosque Maryam, Chicago, Illinois, 11/18/18 “Do you know that many of us who go to Hollywood seeking a chance, we have to submit to anal sex and all kids of debauchery, and they give you a little part? The couch where you have to sit, it’s called the ‘casting couch.’ That’s Jewish power.” — Speech at Mosque Maryam, Chicago, Illinois, 5/27/18 “You and I are going to have to learn to distinguish between the righteous Jew and the Satanic Jews who have infected the whole world with poison and deceit.” — Speech at Mosque Maryam, Chicago, Illinois, 5/27/18 “But when you’ve got revelation that came to you from God through all these prophets, then that’s your test because if you use God’s truth that makes you wiser than others and use it to promote evil when you should be promoting good, then you’re no longer a Jew. And that’s why the scripture says, “I will make those who say they are Jews,” this is Revelation 2 and 9, ‘Who say they are Jews, but they are not, I will make them of the Synagogue of Satan.’ — Interview on WCGI 107.5 Chicago, 5/11/18 “When you want something in this world, the Jew holds the door.” — Saviours’ Day speech, 2/25/18 “Satan is going down. Farrakhan has pulled the cover of the eyes of the Satanic Jew and I’m here to say your time is up, your world is through. You good Jews better separate because the satanic ones will take you to hell with them because that’s where they are headed.” — Saviours’ Day speech, 2/25/18 “I don’t care what they put on me. The government is my enemy, the powerful Jews are my enemy.” — Saviours’ Day speech, 2/25/18 “Members of the Jewish community, who owned a lot of plantations, please don’t get angry and upset because this is real history, you put us back on the plantation as share croppers and began riding down on us, and if any of us escaped the plantation many of the Irish that were coming over, they call them the paddy wagon, they would come after us and bring us back to the plantation; those were hard days, hard days.” — Speech at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC, 11/11/17 “But there are righteous Jews, good Jews, Jews that want to practice the teachings of the prophets, but then there are others who don’t wish to practice, and it is they that hated Reverend [Jesse] Jackson’s desire to be President.” — Speech at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC, 11/11/17 “Those who call themselves ‘Jews,” who are not really Jews, but are in fact Satan: You should learn to call them by their real name, ‘Satan;’ you are coming face-to-face with Satan, the Arch Deceiver, the enemy of God and the enemy of the Righteous.” — Saviours’ Day speech (part 2), 2/26/17 “To my Jewish friends, I shouldn’t use the word ‘friends’ so lightly, you have been a great and master deceiver, but God is going to pull the covers all off of you.” — Saviours’ Day speech (part 2), 2/26/17 1.https://www.adl.org/news/press-releases/farrakhan-blames-jews-for-911-attacks-reaffirming-his-status-as-the-leading 2. https://www.adl.org/resources/profiles/the-nation-of-islam 3.https://www.adl.org/education/resources/reports/nation-of-islam-farrakhan-in-his-own-words QuoteBit In prosperity our friends know us; in adversity we know our friends. -JOHN CHURTON COLLINS (1848–1908) Critic and educator |
