Sorry, I have one more part! I would like to offer what I consider the greatest evidence for the rejection of Emerson vs Board of Education’s 1947 separation of church and state case: Israel.
I repeat, “Israel” is the greatest reason the liberal re-interpretation of the ‘separation of church and state’ is ungodly and unbiblical! The Bible clearly identifies Israel as a nation: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing -Gen12:2 This teaches God will make a great ‘nation’ of Abraham. Who are Abraham’s descendants? The nation of Israel, or the Jews—for He promised to give the land* to the descendants of Abraham, who are called the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Gen50:24; Es2:24; Ex3:16; Ex6:3,8)**--to form a nation! Subsequently, ‘God’ gave the nation of Israel laws (Ex20); and demands their obedience (Deut28). He even instructs Israel that HE is their judge, lawgiver, and king (Is33:22)!*** God also judges Israel when they sin by removing them from the land(Deut30:1); but promises to restore them to that same land, when they turn back to Him(Deut30:2-3). God also created other nations(Gen10) and set their boundaries according to the numbers of Israel (Deut32:8). Moreover, He commands the nations to look to Israel as their example (1Cor10:11[1-11]). In other words, the nations of the world will be held accountable for the laws of God (Bible), i.e. that God gave to Israel(Rom9:4). God also promises the nations if they obeyed His word—which came through Israel (Jews; Rom9:4), He would bless them(Ps33:12)!! He promises that if the nations would accept His righteousness, i.e.obey His word, He will lift them up to be trophies, i.e.examples to the nations of the world (Pro14:34). On the contrary however, He also promised that if those same nations disobeyed His word, He would cast them into hell (Ps9:17, Mat25:32). Furthermore, literally hundreds of times in the Bible, God reveals His Name, beginning with Genesis 33:20, as the “God of Israel”: “And he erected there an altar, and called it Elelohe-Israel” **** He even goes a step further and reveals His name as the: “Lord God of Israel” (Josh7:18,20). Let me remind you, the God of the universe, does not call Himself the God of America! Nor, the God of Saudi Arabia! Nor, the God of France! Nor, the God of Brazil! But…the God of Israel! Because the Name of God is both eternal(Ps90:2) and unchanging(Mal3:6), by revealing His name as ‘the Lord God of Israel’, He sovereignly choses to forever associate His very existence as God with a nation…Israel! And furthermore still, if we consider the books of 1&2 Samuel; 1&2 Kings; and 1&2 Chronicles, we will discover those books are completely dedicated to revealing how God relates to Kings and governments, i.e. through His prophets!!! I repeat, God speaks to the nations, or to governments…through men of God, AND through the Word of God(Bible)! Now…after considering all these irrefutable facts, it just seems a wee-bit arrogant for liberalism (1947 Emerson vs Board of Education) to boast that the ‘separation of church and state’; which I repeat, is a term created by a preacher of the gospel to explain the intent of Jesus’ words found in the Bible***** (Mat22:21), to literally mean: “In order to be fair and equitable, America must categorize all religions the same!!” Can any honest person, with even a cursory understanding of the Bible, possibly believe that Jesus actually thinks all religions are the same? Remember, Jesus alone went to the cross!! Yet, in case you’re an honest person, but don’t know what the Bible declares, ‘here ya go’: “…no one comes to the Father but through Me!” -Jn14:6 “…Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, And there is no savior besides Me.” (Is 43:10-11) “…And you are My witnesses. Is there any God besides Me, Or is there any other Rock? I know of none.” (Is44:8) “…I am the Lord, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God!” (Is45:5) On the contrary, because the God of the Bible, Who is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…is actually and literally the only true God(Jn17:3); ‘AND’ because America has historically favored the Judaeo/Christian ethic; and has incorporated Biblical principles into the Declaration and Constitution…other religions can co-exist on American soil without being persecuted!!! ---For this very reason, God (Bible) cannot be separated from the state! Interestingly, the aforementioned fact is not true of other nations******, precisely because those nations have a different god(Ps96:5)! In conclusion, as long as America---like Israel--- honors God, by way of obedience to His word(Bible)—the One true God will continue to bless this nation!! On the contrary, if America continues to allow liberalism’s re-interpretation of the ‘separation of the church and state’ to hold sway*******, God will be forced to withdraw His presence from America…along with His manifold blessings!!! How can I be so sure? Just ask Israel! * “the land” refers to present day Israel. **Also known as the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel (1Kgs18:36,1Chron29:18) *** Which teaches us where our Founding Fathers derived the 3 branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. **** Elelohe-Israel, literally translates as, “God, the God of Israel”; which can be interpreted as: “Mighty God of Israel” *****Of course, this is just another reminder of incredible liberal hypocrisy, who use a Bible doctrine (separation of church and state), to reject God’s opinion!!! ******The only exceptions are those nations who have—to a degree— incorporated the Judaeo/Christian ethic! Remember, ‘freedom’ is a principle of the Judaeo/Christian ethic (Gal5:1,13; 1Pet2:16); the God of the Bible! *******Which again is: ‘the separation of God from the state’. QuoteBit "The problem with most failing businesses is not that their owners don't know enough about finance, marketing, management, and operations -- they don't, but those things are easy enough to learn -- but that they spend their time and energy defending what they think they know. My experience has shown me that the people who are exceptionally good in business aren't so because of what they know but because of their insatiable need to know more." - Michael Gerber

To conclude this short study of liberalism’s re-definition of the ‘separation of church and state’, I want to remind you of its impact. First, you must understand this fight is spiritual—not political! This fight is not new, it’s been around for centuries. More recent for example, just prior to the Nazi take-over, Germany had a national policy called: Two Spheres, which was liberalism’s re-definition of the ‘separation of church and state’ renamed. It meant:
1.Christ is Lord of the church sphere 2.Kaiser is lord of the political sphere Before Hitler took power, Two Spheres taught allegiance to the government was honorable; and allegiance to God meant allegiance to the government. They even quoted Romans 13:1-2: 1.Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2.Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. In reality, this wonderful passage teaches it is God’s will to honor ALL authority—even governmental authority. Even Jesus told Pilot (Jn19:11) that all authority comes from God; admitting that Pilot had been given authority over Him…at that moment! If this is true, what’s wrong with the doctrine of Two Spheres? Answer: there is one BIG problem. Although the passage does instruct Christians to honor authority, even government authority, a critical point is willfully ignored, which liberalism exploits to accomplish their objective: to usurp control. Romans 13:1,2 teaches God not only is the ruler over the church: 1.The origin(Creator) of human government is God* 2.The end (purpose) of human government is order And, what you don’t get in these first two verses, subsequently comes in the remainder of the passage (Rom12:3-6): a.God* sovereignly rules over the government b.God* (or God’s word) is ‘THE’ sovereign origin of good and evil. Points a. and b. are the points Germany missed in their doctrine of Two Spheres; and like Germany, are the same points liberals pervert to re-interpret the Biblical ‘separation of church and state’, to make it declare just the opposite of its original intent!! Read carefully!!! Liberalism’s reinterpretation of the ‘separation of church and state’ is one of the greatest, if not the greatest deception of contemporary America!!! When Germany declared Christ the Lord of the church; and the Kaiser the lord of the government; by default, it clearly declared that Christ is NOT the Lord over the government!!! This is heresy! By virtue of being the Creator, the Biblical God is the sovereign Ruler over all HIS creation (Neh9:6; 1Chron29:11,12; 1Tim6:15)! Through the religious doctrine of Two Spheres, which is synonymous with the present day liberal reinterpretation of the ‘separation of church and state’, Hitler became the lord over the government, i.e. he filled the position of God; i.e. he usurped the throne God was supposed to possess(1Sam8:7;1Sam10:18,19) i.e. he became the god of Germany**! The Bible categorizes this as the sin of idolatry(Ps96:5)! Whereas Pastor Richard Hooker’s (1554-1600) original intent for the Biblical doctrine of the ‘separation of church and state’ was: God is sovereign over the church; and God is sovereign over the state; YET, the purposes of the two are different; which means because He created and mandated both purposes, and He is not the author of confusion (1Cor14:33), the two purposes will not conflict! On the contrary, liberalism’s re-interpretation declares, like Nazi Germany, that the God of the Bible, i.e. God’s word, His law, have no place in government; therefore, separate Him out! Tragically, like Nazi Germany, the rejection of God as the lawful ruler over this nation(Ps33:12), through liberalism’s reinterpretation of the ‘separation of church and state’, leaves man as the Sovereign of America! Therefore, liberalism*** has lead America into idolatry, i.e. the rulership and worship of man! How could such a thing happen in America? Simple answer: atheism is a religion…and it has doctrines****! For example, 1.Liberalism is the social doctrine of atheism 2.Relativism is the life doctrine of atheism 3.Communism/Socialism is the political/governmental doctrine of atheism 4.Darwinism is the scientific doctrine of atheism The liberal re-interpretation of the ‘separation of church and state’ is a doctrine that falls under the political/governmental doctrine of atheism. Life Principle: every doctrine of a religion leads back to the deity of that doctrine! Christians, please listen…the more you permit the doctrine of liberalism in your life, 1.The more you ‘attempt’ to mix Christianity with atheism! 2.The more you move toward adopting, i.e. converting to atheism! 3.The more you proselytize and market atheism in America! You don’t believe it?!?! Just look around and notice the vast numbers of people who have converted to atheism via Darwinism! Or, consider the numbers of people who are Communists, or even Socialists; then ask yourself, how many are avowed atheists? Stalin! Lenin! Mao! Bernie Sanders! If Jesus is not Lord of all…He is not Lord at all!! “The chief danger of the 20th century will be religion without the Holy Ghost; Christianity without Christ; forgiveness without repentance; salvation without regeneration; politics without God; heaven without hell” -General William Booth (Salvation Army) Is not Booth’s statement, “politics without God” synonymous with liberalism’s re-interpretation of the separation of church and state’? And, are we not seeing the prophetic manifestation of this very quote before our very eyes in contemporary America? *My reference to God, refers to the God of the Bible; the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the only God, there is no other god! **Although the word ‘Fuhrer’ actually means leader, it’s practical meaning in Nazi Germany was ‘god’! *** Liberalism and progressivism are synonymous!!! ****They are called doctrines of devils(1Tim4:1) Quotebit Don't just let your business or your job make something for you; let it make something of you. -unknown In 1631, Rodger Williams was accused and found guilty of preaching ‘religious liberty’ in England, which lead to his flight across the ocean to Boston. First, this teaches ‘religious liberty’ was illegal in England. And second, it confirms the original and primary reason: ‘religious liberty’, that first the Pilgrims, followed by the Puritans, whom were both Christian groups, left England for America.
Because ‘religious liberty’ was against the law in England, the Christian doctrine* of the ‘separation of church and state’, was first created and coined by English pastor Richard Hooker(1554-1600)—to refute the persecution by the English Anglican church of any and every dissenting voice. I repeat, because of English laws against ‘religious liberty’; for over 200 years--from Pastor Hooker(1600) until 1802--when President Jefferson used the term ‘separation of church and state’ in a letter to the Danbury Baptists, it was defined as to prohibit the government from interfering with religious practice**!! Hence, the very first amendment in the Constitution(1789), declared: "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Confirming the original, ‘Christian’ definition (Hooker’s definition) of ‘the separation of church and state’, and condemning the new liberal re-definition, President Thomas Jefferson, who is falsely attributed by liberals as its creator***, wrote to Samuel Miller on January 23, 1808: "I consider the government of the U.S. as interdicted (prohibited) by the Constitution from intermeddling with religious institutions, their doctrines, discipline, or exercises.” Hence, the very person liberals use as evidence for their false re-interpretation; is the very person who condemns that re-interpretation! Here is one key (of several) to unlock understanding! The Founding Fathers, and the Americans in general, were undeniably, and irrefutably Christians or Christianized****. Although they understood the definition of the term “religion”, the Founding Fathers used it in a dual manner; where the context most often determined which meaning. The two meanings of ‘religion’ were: 1.religion=Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc., i.e. the traditional definition. 2.religion=denominations within Christianity: Baptist, Catholic, Anglicanism, Methodism, etc. For example, Thomas Jefferson wrote Elbridge Gerry on January 26, 1799: “I am for the freedom of religion, and against all maneuvers to bring about the legal ascendency of one sect over another.” (Doubting Thomas, Mark Beliles, pg51) This statement is easily understood to fall under definition 2 above: denominations. Jefferson used “sects” to refer to Christian denominations---because Americans were overwhelmingly Christian—but of different denominations! Therefore, the second half of his statement: “one sect over another”, qualifies “freedom of religion” used at the beginning. Thomas Jefferson likewise replied to a Quaker, named Thomas Leiper. “…as for myself, my religious reading has long been confined to the moral branch of religion, which is the same in all religions; while in that branch which consists of dogmas, all differ, all have a different set. The former instructs us how to live well and worthily in society; the latter are made to interest our minds in the support of the teachers who inculcate them. Hence, for one sermon on a moral subject, you hear ten on the dogmas of the sect. However, religion is not the subject for you and me. Neither of us knows the religious opinions of the other. That is a matter between our maker and ourselves…” (Doubting Thomas, Mark Beliles, pg111) Jefferson separates Christian religious teaching into two camps: morality and doctrine. He argues the moral teaching is the same for all religions, i.e. Christian denominations. He can therefore only be referring to Christianity here because the moral teachings of all religions: Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, etc., are certainly not the same!! Only within Christian denominations are moral teachings the same; while their dogmas are not. Jefferson wrote back to Presbyterian James Fishback on June 5, 1809: “the interests of society require the observation of those moral precepts only in which all religions agree…” “The practice of morality being necessary for the well-being of society…” “We all agree in the obligation of the moral precepts of Jesus, and nowhere will they be found delivered in greater purity than in his discourses…” (Doubting Thomas, Mark Beliles, pg112) Jefferson teaches moral concepts are that of which “all religions agree”, i.e. Christian denominations. He concludes that we (Americans) all agree on the “moral precepts of Jesus”, found in the Bible…and of Whom he declares is the origin of morality! These are not the words of an atheist or deist…but the words of one who prefers ‘Christianity’ for ‘public’ discourse! This thinking was in no-way limited to Jefferson. George Mason originally suggested the wording of the First Amendment to be: "All men have an equal, natural and unalienable right to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that no particular sect or society of Christians ought to be favored or established by law in preference to others." In 1787, Benjamin Franklin wrote the following for the people of Europe wanting to relocate to America: "To this may be truly added, that serious religion, under its various denominations, is not only tolerated but respected and practiced. Atheism is unknown there." Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, appointed by George Washington, and who started the Harvard law school, referred to the first amendment declaring: “The real object of the amendment was, not to countenance, much less advance the Mahometanism, or Judiasm, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among Christian Sects…” Antidisestablishmentarianism, the longest word in the dictionary, refers to the great American truth established in the first amendment, that Congress cannot make a law for or against a religion; which again meant denomination. Why? Because every state previously established their own religion, i.e. denomination! The first amendment declared, "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion…” which referred to a preference of one denomination over another, and as I said, had been the historical practice of the colonies for some time!! I repeat, disestablishmentarianism forever forbade a state from preferring one denomination over another…not from preferring Christianity!!! Both Jefferson and Madison attempted to pass a bill to ‘disestablish’ the Anglican/Episcopalian denomination in Virginia, who were collecting taxes from the state’s people--for their denomination--while persecuting all dissenters. Those people who disagreed with their bill were called anti-disestablishmentarianists. On the contrary, John Jay appointed the first chief justice by George Washington, writing to Jedidiah Morse on Feb. 28, 1797, made it perfectly clear, “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers. And it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” Every nation---without exception--has a god; but only that nation whose God is the Lord is blessed: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD…”-Ps33:12. Therefore, the First Amendment prohibits preference of one Christian denomination over another---but like John Jay said, it does allow for the preference of Christianity! Remember, these were Christians who created these laws! How stupid would they have been to outlaw their own doctrine!! Contrary to liberalism/atheism, America was, and still is, a Christian nation! *The ‘separation of church and state’ is a doctrine of Christianity defining the divine separation of the ‘purpose’ of the state, from the ‘purpose’ of the church. Yet, this highlights liberalism’s deception and hypocrisy!! By nature, liberalism rejects God and His word—for it is a social doctrine of atheism. However, liberalism uses the Christian doctrine of ‘the separation of church and state’, to reject God from any influence on the state. In essence, they use God’s law to reject God!! Explain that one if you can!!! **In reality, this was the definition until Emerson in 1947, when liberals changed it to mean exactly opposite, where now Congress makes laws restricting religious practice! ***By ignoring the actual originator of the term ‘separation of church and state’, liberalism is free to re-interpret its actual meaning. In other words, they simply change its history, to change its future! This is yet another confirmation of liberalism’s primary tool of deception: word manipulation!! ****A Christianized person is one who is not necessarily born-again, but is highly influenced by Judaeo/Christian ethic…because that view of good and evil dominates the culture. The Christian world-view highly influenced many, but not all, Americans from the beginning. QuoteBit Your upbringing and past circumstance may have influenced who you now are, but, you are responsible for who you become. -- unknown In order to understand the sinister liberal agenda in their manipulation of the separation of church and state established by the 1947 Emerson vs Board of Education case, we must continue our focus on Thomas Jefferson.
In spite of all the incontrovertible evidence presented so far, modern historians continue to perpetuate the liberal myth that the moral authority for the 1947’s Emerson case lay in Thomas Jefferson. For example, “…like Voltaire, Jefferson longed for the day when the last king would be strangled with the entrails of the last priest.” -Prof. Joseph Ellis “Jefferson hated organized religion. -Paul O’Brien “Jefferson…It’s very likely he was an atheist. -Mike Weinstein “His writings clearly prove that he was not a Christian but a Freethinker” -John Remsburg* This week I offer the short, uncomplicated evidence which refutes the liberal myth of Jefferson’s hatred for Christianity. My evidence begins in the Bible: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also –Mat6:21 This verse clearly teaches a great, irrefutable fact of human nature: where you spend money, is a clear sign of your heart! Or, as our pastor says, “you can tell where your heart is by looking at your checkbook!” There are few greater absolute facts than your money follows your belief! In other words, in this context---atheists don’t give money to churches or ministries! What does this have to do with Jefferson’s separation of church and state? The simple but profound connection between heart and money, is eloquently expressed in the marvelous book, Doubting Thomas, by historians Mark A. Beliles and Jerry Newcombe. They cite many of Thomas Jefferson’s financial entries, which prove beyond a shadow-of-a-doubt that he was neither an atheist, nor anti-Christian! 1.In 1777, in support of Reverend Charles Clay, a life-long friend, and the St Anne’s Parish, in his home town of Charlottesville, Virginia, Thomas Jefferson’s authored: “Subscription to Support a Clergyman in Charlottesville”. I repeat, this document was written by Jefferson’s own hand, and the people of the town were the target audience. In the document, he officially asked the people to voluntarily give of their finances to support the local church pastor, along with the church’s ministry!! This was a yearly or ongoing financial responsibility, for which, Jefferson was the first, and most generous financial giver!! There were even times, when Jefferson’s account book showed he helped others pay their subscription! Obviously, Jefferson was not only determined, but leading the way to ensure that Rev. Clay’s financial needs were met.** 2.In November of 1777, his account book showed a donation to “Timber Ridge academy, a Presbyterian founded and controlled institution.”** Interestingly, to further highlight this donation, Jefferson was not a real fan of John Calvin or the Presbyterians, not because they were religious, but because, he didn’t care for their doctrine. 3.On August 15, 1779, his account book recorded: “Paid Rev. Charles Clay in consideration of parochial(church-related) services*** 4.On 9/301779, his account book showed he “paid for a year” to the sexton of Bruton Parish in Williamsburg.4* The Bruton Parish was a church. 5.On 6/29/1782, his account book showed “he subscribed to a new minister: Matthew Maury, to preach in Charlottesville.” 5* 6.On 9/6/1782, his account book showed he obtained Rev. Maury’s services for a funeral, for either or both his wife and his child.6* 7.On 3/31/1783, his account book showed, he “paid at church”. This was most likely when he was in Philadelphia, at an Episcopal church, under Rev. William White. 7* 8.In 1784, he visited New England, and his account book showed payment to Ezra Stiles, president of Yale college. Stiles was a Congregationalist clergyman.8* 9.In July of 1784, while in France, his account book showed he enrolled his daughter Martha in a Bernadine Catholic convent school called Abbey Royale de Panthemont. 9* 10.In 1789, he retained his children in Catholic monastery in France. His account book records, “Paid at Pathemont in full.” 10* 11.On 2/23/1790, his account book showed, “Paid Mr Maury marriage fee.” Reverend Maury married his daughter Martha and Thomas Mann Randolph at Monticello. 11* 12.In September and October of 1791, his account book recorded “to Rev Matthew Maury 75.5 dollars.” This money was for Rev. Maury; church work; and school fees. Dr Belilies says to translate this amount of money into today’s currendy, we have to multiply by 20. Therefore, the 75.5 dollars is worth $1510.00!!!12* 13.At the end of 1792, his account book recorded, “paid. Mr (illegible) a subscription for missionaries.” 13* 14.His account book also recorded, “Paid Rev M. Maury on account of my subscription for 1793.” This says Jefferson paid a back fee from 2 years earlier…to support Rev Maury! 14* 15.In February of 1798, his account book showed, “paid…subscription of a hot press Bible”. This refers to a fee paid ahead of publishing a Bible to provide capital, and in return Jefferson’s name was to be listed publicly as a subscriber or advance investor!!! 15* In……….credible!!! Of course, his private use of money for preachers, churches, etc., helps explain why he believed in using public/government monies for ministry and evangelism! In conclusion, do atheists: …give to churches to do ministry? …Support Christian schools? …Publish Bibles? ...Pay preachers to do ministry, to bury relatives, to marry their children? Somebody is not telling the truth! Guess who?? *Jefferson Lies, David Barton, pg 206.
