What is the origin of Islamic anti-semitism? Simple answer…the Quran! The Quran and Hadith teach that Allah turns Jews into the following animals: “apes” “pigs,” “monkeys”, “rats”, “and lizards”.

The context of these two verses refers to the Jews. For example, Surah 5:59 uses the term “People of the Book” which refers to either Jews or Christians, but primarily Jews. The word “Book” refers to the Bible.

Does this mean literal apes & pigs? According to their scholars, the answer is absolutely that it is literal. For example, regarding 2:65, the following Muslim scholar writes:
“During the night, the Jews collected the fish after the Sabbath ended. When they did that, Allah changed them from humans into monkeys, the animals having the form closest to humans. Their evil deeds and deceit appeared lawful on the surface, but they were in reality wicked. This is why their punishment was compatible with their crime. This story is explained in detail in Surat Al-A`raf, where Allah said (7:163)”
“In his Tafsir*, Al-`Awfi reported from Ibn `Abbas that he said, (We said to them: "Be you monkeys, despised and rejected'') means, "Allah changed their bodies into those of monkeys and swines. The young people turned into monkeys while the old people turned into swine.'' Shayban An-Nahwi reported that Qatadah commented on, (We said to them: "Be you monkeys, despised and rejected''), "These people were turned into howling monkeys with tails, after being men and women.''

Hadith**: The Following is Muhammad’s view of ‘literally’ turning humans into animals:
“During the pre-lslamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them.”

He took a stick and counted its fingers. He then said: A group from the children of Isra'il was transformed into an animal of the land, and I do not know which animal it was. He did not eat it nor did he forbid (its eating).

Abu Zubair reported that he heard Jabir B. 'Abdullah saying that there was presented to Allah's Messenger (the flesh) of the lizard, but he refused to eat that, saying:
I do not know; perhaps it (lizard) might (be one of those natives of) the distant past whose (forms) had beer, distorted.

  First, the Bible calls Israel the “apple of His eye” (Zech2:8)! This is an obvious expression of personal affection, i.e.love. Furthermore, Jeremiah declares God loves Israel with an “everlasting love”(Jer31:3). The word “everlasting” is the Hebrew word Olawm, which is also translated ‘eternal’!!! Therefore, God has an everlasting/eternal love for Israel!! Now we know what the Biblical God thinks of Israel(Jew).
  On the other hand, if we find that the Quran/Hadith is contrary to Israel/Jew, we:
           i.know the Biblical God is not the god of Islam.  
           ii.now know why Muslims, i.e. hate Israel (Jews).
 
  So, what does the Quran declare about Israel/Jews:
1.“O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as guardians(friends)—they are guardians (friends) of each other. Whoever does so will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” Surah 5:51
 
2.Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled.     -Surah 9:29
  In case you think “fighting” those who simply reject a belief in Allah; as well as taxing (Jizrah) unbelievers for their beliefs, which is obviously designed to make unbelievers feel subservient, does not apply to Jews and Christians (unbelievers/infidels) the very next verse answers definitively:
The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah,” while the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” Such are their baseless assertions, only parroting the words of earlier disbelievers. May Allah condemn them! How can they be deluded from the truth? Surah 9:30

The Jews are infidels – not because I say so, and not because they are killing Muslims, but because Allah said: “The Jews say that Uzair is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that Christ is the son of Allah. These are the words from their mouths. They imitate the sayings of the disbelievers before. May Allah fight them. How deluded they are.” It is Allah who said that they are infidels.
Your belief regarding the Jews should be, first, that they are infidels, and second, that they are enemies. They are enemies not because they occupied Palestine. They would have been enemies even if they did not occupy a thing. Allah said: “You shall find the strongest men in enmity to the disbelievers [sic] to be the Jews and the polytheists.” Third, you must believe that the Jews will never stop fighting and killing us. They [fight] not for the sake of land and security, as they claim, but for the sake of their religion: “And they will not cease fighting you until they turn you back from you’re your religion, if they can.” This is it. We must believe that our fighting with the Jews is eternal, and it will not end until the final battle – and this is the fourth point. You must believe that we will fight, defeat, and annihilate them, until not a single Jew remains on the face of the Earth.
It is not me who says so. The Prophet said: “Judgment Day will not come until you fight the Jews and kill them. The Jews will hide behind stones and trees, and the stones and tree will call: Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him – except for the Gharqad tree, which is the tree of the Jews.” I have heard that they are planting many of these trees now.
As for you Jews – the curse of Allah upon you. The curse of Allah upon you, whose ancestors were apes and pigs. You Jews have sown hatred in our hearts, and we have bequeathed it to our children and grandchildren. You will not survive as long as a single one of us remains.
Oh Jews, may the curse of Allah be upon you. Oh Jews... Oh Allah, bring Your wrath, punishment, and torment down upon them. Allah, we pray that you transform them again, and make the Muslims rejoice again in seeing them as apes and pigs. You pigs of the earth! You pigs of the earth! In conclusion, Islamic anti-semitism is spiritual:
  The only true* God identifies Himself as the ‘GOD of Israel’**! And, that Sovereign, One true God has a unique calling upon Israel (Deut7:6-8). Therefore, because Satan hates God, he hates what God loves, and expends great energy trying to destroy those whom God has uniquely chosen. In his twisted mind, he reasons, “If I can destroy the seed of Israel (a.k.a. the ‘nation’ of Israel or the Jew), I can successfully destroy God.”
 
   BUT…God’s Word declares: 
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. (Jer31:33)
“If those ordinances (moon and stars) depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever” (Jer31:36).
