In the first tidbit, I wrote that Dr Martin Luther King’s Civil Rights movement was inspired by God’s gift of freedom to ‘all’ people, because that gift ultimately originated in the image and likeness of God. Yet, what is also true is that Dr King’s moral right agreed with the God-ordained purpose of freedom given to America to secure that freedom! In other words, one of the purposes of God ordained the existence of America is Freedom…not just for blacks, not just for Americans…but for all men! Hence, from God’s perspective, the calling of America to freedom, is hand-in-glove with the calling of Dr King, offering more irrefutable support to the fact that--All Lives Matter!
To support my contention of America’s purpose of freedom, allow me to offer just a few statements of our past presidents: -"Almighty God hath created the mind free, and...all attempts to influence it by temporal punishments...tend only to begat habits of hypocrisy and meanness, and are a departure from the plan of the Holy Author of religion, who being Lord both of body and mind, yet chose not to propagate it by coercions on either, as was in his Almighty power to do, but to extend it by its influence on reason alone." -Thomas Jefferson, 1/16/1786, author of the Declaration of Independence. -"The Declaration of Independence gave liberty not alone to the people of this country, but hope to all the world for all future time. It was that which gave promise that in due time the weights would be lifted from the shoulders of all men, and that all should have an equal chance. This is the sentiment embodied in the Declaration of Independence. I would rather be assassinated on this spot than surrender it" (emphasis mine). -Abraham Lincoln, 2/1861 -“History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid." – Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower -"We in this country, in this generation, are by destiny rather than choice - the watchmen on the walls of world freedom. (emphasis mine) -John F Kennedy What I find most perplexing about the increasingly popular ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement, and is just ‘one’ of many pieces of evidence for a lack of Holy Spirit inspiration, is their affinity to resist the absolute, God-given, God-inspired truth that “All lives matter”. Alicia Garza, co-founder of BLM said regarding ‘all lives matter’, “Please do not change the conversation by talking about how your life matters. …we need less watered down unity and a more active solidarities with us, Black people, unwaveringly, in defense of our humanity.” The “tired trope that we are all the same, perpetuates a level of White supremacist domination.” BLM began with the Trayvon Martin death in Florida, and exploded with the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Missouri. In contrast to Ms Garza, following are some facts regarding ‘Black’ lives. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), in 2012, 123 blacks were shot by police. Interestingly, over double the number of whites and Hispanics died from police guns! That same year of 2012 found over 6000 blacks were shot and killed, almost exclusively by other blacks! Just using statistics, allow me to build my case: 2012 deaths of African Americans: -Police shootings -123 (CDC, 2012) -HIV deaths-5,686 -Homicides-8,206 (22 per day) (6,000 through guns) -Diabetes death-11,934 -Accidental deaths-12,215 -Cancer deaths-63,279 -Heart disease-69,918* Using simple arithmetic, combined ‘Black’ deaths annually is 171,361! Yet incredibly, ‘Black’ abortions annually total an astounding 363,705 (996/day)!!! In other words, ‘Black’ abortions more than double the total combined number of all other means of ‘Black’ death!!! Five questions remain: 1.Why do I hear the media, entertainment, and academia ‘SHOUTING’ nearly from every rooftop, “POLICE BRUTALITY” and “WHITE RACISM”**--but to this day, I have heard precious little of anything regarding ‘ANY’ of the other causes of ‘Black’ death…with special emphasis on abortion, the leading cause of ‘Black’ death?!?! 2.Why has the group with the actual name of ‘Black Lives Matter’ spoken only about the area responsible for the fewest number of ‘Black’ deaths? 3.Is the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement ignorant of these statistics? 4.Can you actually take a movement seriously who contends they support ‘Black’ lives, when the vast bulk of their attention is on .000229% of ‘Black’ deaths? Out of every 100,000 black deaths, BLM focuses on 23, ignoring 99,977! 5.Do you really think the BLM movement is apolitical? “…who suppress the truth in unrighteousness…”Rom1:19 I suggest a few answers: 1.The cry of ‘racism’ agitates, and stirs-up animosity… in the masses! 2.The cry of ‘racism’ centralizes, i.e. gathers power to the few! 3.The cry of ‘racism’ demands money from power, i.e. the government, and the liberal rich! 4.The inspiration behind a movement is the key to that movement! Unlike Dr Martin Luther King’s Civil Rights movement, these ‘few’ facts confirm the inspiration behind BLM is not the God of the Bible! * TooManyaborted.com **To liberalism, ‘police brutality’ is the face of ‘white racism’!
