Is ‘Prosperity’ Biblical? An Open letter to ‘Anti-prosperity’ Christians! -4

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD… -Ps33:12
Righteousness exalts a nation…   -Pro14:34
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted…”  -Pro11:11
 
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the top 7 nations:
1.United States                        -20.4 trillion
2.China                                    -14.1 trillion
3.Japan                                    -5.2 trillion
4.Germany                              -4.2 trillion
5.United Kingdom                  -2.9 trillion
6.France                                  -2.9 trillion
7.India                                     -2.8 trillion     
 
The GDP of the top 7 states in America:
1.California                             -2.7 trillion
2.Texas                                    -1.69 trillion
3.New York                            -1.5 trillion
4.Florida                                  -967 billion
5.Illinois                                  -820 billion
6.Pennsylvania                        -752 billion
7. Ohio                                    -649 billion
 
   California’s GDP alone makes it the 8th largest nation in the world. The top three states in America combined make them the 3rd largest nation in the world. 
 
   This means the United States is not only the wealthiest nation on earth…but the wealthiest nation in the history of the world!!!
 
   In 1787, after much debate, and little success, Benjamin Franklin arose at the Constitutional Convention and said, "I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth -- that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?"
 
            -No nation can exist without God!
            -No nation can rise without God’s help!
            -No nation can prosper without God’s direct intervention!
 
   Dr Franklin’s words align with the Biblical text in Deuteronomy 8:18: “You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

   While it is true that the context of Deuteronomy 8 refers to the nation of Israel, is it possible that this passage restricts prosperity to Israel? If that is true, then America stands at the top of the contemporary nations of the world:
                        1.by accident
                        2.by Satan’s power
   If America’s prosperity and position is an accident, then God is not sovereign, and not in control. If America is an accident, then something exists outside of God, that controls the rise and fall of nations!
   If America’s wealth is Satanic, why do YOU (anti-prosperity Christian) have any of it? Can you theologically justify taking money or making money through a Satanic economic system?
  On the contrary, if America’s prosperity and position are from God, then God prospers humans…for nations are comprised of humans! I repeat, no nation can prosper without the people of that nation prospering!
 
   Let’s be brutally honest! God is sovereign…and America’s rise to the top of the nations’ GDP is not an accident, but the blessing of the Lord!
 
   Rejoice and be exceedingly glad!!! It is God’s will for ‘YOU’ to financially prosper, because it makes God happy!!
